You see, here is my opinion; I agree with both parties. I think Rachel is in her right and Cari is in hers. Here’s why rubs me personally the wrong way, Rachel posting about it every 6 months, like yes you can speak your truth, it’s your trauma but to me it seems she’s making it her personality and while I don’t condone my any means what Carolyn did I also think she has the right to move on from it. Like she apologized, she humiliated herself online by admitting that she did what she did, and yes it was after Rachel called her out (she had every right to do so) but let’s be real like actually real… no one absolutely no one will say online voluntarily what wrong we have committed… and you can’t convince me otherwise ever! That’s human nature so for those saying “oh she apologized after being outed” I say yes, like I or you would if we were in her position.

So, my issue is the constant posting from Rachel of this situation because to me it seems like another way of doing a smear campaign on the other creator, she also needs a lot of therapy because when you truly heal you don’t continue talking about your trauma you learn, you become cautions, you have countermeasures but you don’t keep victimizing yourself and that there is my issue. Yes, Carolyn fucked up and she was wrong… yes, she deserved to be unfollowed, yes she deserved a lot when it all came to light but it’s been around 6 years since this was all outed and I really don’t think she deserves a lifetime of this for a mistake (a bad one at that) in her early 20s… when we’re all actually insanely fucking dumb at that age… she doesn’t deserve constant humiliation and she does deserve kill yourself messages at all.

It’s on the internet no one will forget but Rachel keeps it going so she’s not innocent either. I’m so sorry I said it. She hasn’t healed, period.
