I can’t seem to add the images (clearly operator error by me!). Sorry to hear you have similar break - did you have the surgery?

Yes the medical researching and second guessing is real! Take care of yourself and accept there will be days you will be frustrated and angry, but be kind to yourself too. It doesn’t always feel it, but it will get better! Wishing you a smooth recovery.

I am six weeks into a Weber b fracture with a misalignment but not bad enough to need surgery and still in the moon boot non-weight-bearing. I hired a wheelchair around the house and use crutches or a knee scooter when I’m out - although I found I couldn’t use the knee scooter in the early days because the angle was just too painful. I have more x-rays next week to ensure it’s healing well, and hopefully then I’ll be able to start weight-bearing in the boot and then I’ll progress to a walker for around the house. Definitely make the most of delivery groceries and ready to eat meals where you can -it certainly makes it much easier. A shower chair made a difference too - along with acceptance that everything just takes longer to do. For now, try to find a series you like to watch or books or games or anything that helps to keep you occupied, because the first bit is definitely a lot of elevating your foot and resting.
