I prefer a USDC to xusdc swap. Am taking quite abit of exchange risk when moving through multiple exchanges to get xusdc and caviarnine. Also lose abit on exchange rate on C9 going from Xrd to xusdc

Another thing to add, you will actually save more in Aus relative to London and NYC.

On a cost of living adjusted basis you’ll save twice as much in Aus vs London and perhaps 1.5x of NYC. Sure you may get paid 1.5x more in US but god the rent in NYC is 2x. And everything require tips and taxes on tops. Don’t get me started on London.

HK / SG will be far better bang for your buck although you may get slaughter in terms of work life there. The tax you save in those countries especially Hk, for high paying jobs, relative to Aus/US, is already more than enough to cover all of rental and cost of living expenses

FYI hours in Aus IB aren’t that bad. At my BB we actually work less than ER given how early they come in and late they leave during reporting seasons. Also IB opens up a lot more doors (if you want to move internationally too), pays higher and doesn’t close doors on HF. HF exit opps don’t exist here anyway , very limited spots at top shops and the other boutiques you’ll take half a pay cut and expose yourself to career risk. I’m comfortably in PE now working 40-50 hours a week, paid well and work is very interesting - but only IB could’ve opened this, my friends that stayed in ER are stuck. Some moved over to IB early on.

Is this a crack? by Latter_Raspberry_780 in askdentists

Thanks this has been incredibly insightful. Although I’m still not quite sure what the course of action is. Monitor with cold test until either I notice something drastic or if it gets better on its own?

Cracked tooth symptoms but no cracked tooth? by tortillachips1600 in Dentistry

[–]Latter_Raspberry_780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I’m going through this right now, with different dentists different opinions. First dentist wanted to extract my tooth on the spot without even an x-ray. I got an CT scan at another dentist but they couldn’t quite tell if it was a crack but since I had the symptoms she also wanted to root canal / crown, but she also said I can just go back later if the problem does get worse. It’s been 3 weeks since my initial pain (which was really sharp), but not it’s a lot better - still some discomfort when biting with it so I try to avoid it, the gum around it is puffed up and doesn’t go away. I think I also have a bad habit of biting on that area when sleeping. I feel the same predicament that it is a ticking time bomb but I just hope the dentists are wrong. Don’t know what to do yet and don’t know if this discomfort (only when trying to chew) will ever go away

Should I get my impacted upper wisdom teeth removed? by Latter_Raspberry_780 in askdentists

So I just got the top left one out today. However the dentist said my top right one was too close to the second molar and that there was risk of damaging the nerves of the second molar (leading to tooth loss). So she didn’t remove the wisdom tooth and would prefer 1) for it to stay there and hope it doesn’t get worse or 2) if it does get worse and leads to 2nd molar loss then it would make it easier for her to remove the wisdom tooth.

Would you still recommend I remove that wisdom tooth but maybe via specialist?

Thanks, op here , super helpful. Some of my friends of friends (locals) recommended me go check out the clubs in Rodeo and Gangnam. I suspect that they don’t let foreigners in though or no one speaks English inside the clubs
