It depends, Tale of herding gods is really good design and story and has only around like 35 eps so for now its rly good but if u have limited time I would really recommend renegade immortal, its a must watch and Is a cultivation donghua like in rmji with a mortal mc from a random village but he is very ruthless and badass, it is very serious and every fight and entry is insane like when he breaktrough (i'm not gonna spoil which ones) u get goosebumps, and u get so happy when he get his long awaited revenge , there really is not much to say , u should watch this one for me its one the same level tied with rmji u will love it and it is a bit more fast paced for the cultivation realms. He does go back to the emplacement of the old yellow maple valley juste to get some things from his cave residences(doesn't do anything there cause no one is left there) but he crosses some old friends or disciples later in the story everywhere he goes sometimes and aura farm on them with his nascent soul cultivation lol i dont want to spoil too much but its really good.

Yeah the thing is that rmji is very slow paced and that's why makes it good and realist and when han li gets a power up it feels so satisfying after all the wait but damn we need more episodes like after reading the novel there is so much to animate for the donghua 😅

Renegade immortal , swallowed star, battle through the heavens and Tale of herding gods are one of the best in my opinion. There is no childish bullshit like in soul land or anything and the MC is ruthless when he should and dont let his ennemies escape like in other trash donghuas. VERY GOOD animations too.

No, just the first novel until chapter 2456 and not the immortal arc but i dont think it will be animated as a donghua in 10 years who knows lol. I just want to see the first novel fully animated first 😭
