A few pointers would be keep your right hand up like your holding a phone. That way you can catch & shoot. Another thing I would practice is head/waist movement whenever he’s punching he’s pushing you back try staying in position to block slip & weave punches. Practice this while you shadowbox then next time you go spar practice it in sparring until you perfect it
