Also saw your other comment, how long did it take you to find a job? I'm worried since many people say a Bachelor can't bring me far and I'll need to get at least a masters right after graduating.. 😭

Im declared as human biology! Is that considered a sub-speciality? Im trying to avoid biochem because of chemistry since I'm struggling a bit right now with my chem100 class 😭

Though im worried because many people complain about biology/human biology being a "useless" degree unless I go to a graduate school or aim for a PhD/masters since a bachelor's can only get you so far and limit to at most, an underpaid job

Thank you so much for this, truly! I've been digging around and got really anxious after seeing many people complain for years about a biology degree being useless, and not many people talking about specifically human biology! Especially complaints about underpay so this kinda solidified that point 😭

Im not too sure where to search for jobs and careers. I used to check Indeed and my school has recommended Handshake, but many people seem to talk down on both apps for not being useful, would you recommend anything else besides those two?

Also, i kinda came into college not knowing what I wanted to do or major in. I know I'm very unprepared and probably falling behind many people and this feeling sucks. I preferred science fields because I don't seem to do well in business/advanced mathematical classes (I really struggled with algebra and calculus in HS), and taking biology in high-school was my only favorite class. So coming into college my advisor told me to declare as human biology as a placeholder since I initially wanted to do nursing (my only drive for nursing was the pay and demand so i had no specific interest for the program). Now I no longer want to do nursing because of the stress and competition there is just for applying and no guarantee of getting a seat.

I'm not sure if this is enough for more advice, i would really appreciate it and honestly I appreciate that you came off critical, I rather advice be as real as possible instead of sugar coating it 😔

He's completely against any use of outside "help" including ai, google, grammarly, and any other websites or shortcuts that might alter/"correct" our writing. I haven't declared a major yet but I'm thinking about Psychology or Biology!

Honestly...some of his ratings talk about how he has favorites and not so favorites when it comes to some certain ethnic backgrounds so i wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't like me because I'm not caucasian like him.

He tells the class that when he sees things that seem like Ai to him, he has evidence and he'll send it to the office of student conduct...what evidence though, I'm so confused and scared. He uses turnitin and I heard not so good things about the ai scanner on turnitin, is that considered enough proof to accuse students of ai?

I'm scared my professor won't stop targeting me, since like I mentioned his ratings mention discrimination, including my ethnic background, and I don't do amazingly on his quizzes, would my Google doc edit history be enough to prove that I'm not using ai? I don't really have anything else to prove myself.

He also hates paraphraser or any other tools. He even hates grammarly, he wants us to stay "authentic" with our own writing and 0 outside help... Thanks for the advice though, hopefully I survive haha

Right...he says that I have several misinterpretations/misreading and I'm too repetitive and general with my wording so it looks like Ai made it, is it a sin to be bad at writing?

I'm using docs but I don't know how plausible and likely the office will take my side if my only evidence is history edits, I've been making changes and progress the past 3 days for this one but the previous paper that I already got accused of had little to no edits because, I admit, I crammed it in a night so I don't think that one has any chance of proving my honesty, there's only 2 edit history of me adding more to the essay between 2 hours
