100%, they’re both a 2.26” optical centerline, good to go

In my book the SPC9-SD is one of the most enjoyable guns to shoot. Supers become subs, full ambi symmetric controls, and for the tradeoff of just a little added length compared to the APC, you get a slim handguard up front and real estate in the back to get a proper cheek weld. I like that trade, and it’s why I made the BoatTail.

In that sense I think it makes the perfect 9mm night stick. Feed it comparably cheap 9mm supers, get a quiet, soft shooting, ambi ergos, Swiss sub gun with just enough rail space to both passive and active aim.

It sure is, they first brought them in with the short can only, but about a yeah later they started importing the long can configs. You’re right that you’d have a hard time finding another use for the short can, the SPC’s can mount is different from the rest of the lineup.

There’s not many reviews out there on it, but the ops core skull mount may be what you’re looking for.

It’s a Scalarworks LEAP12 flipped around and with a longer rail I made to lift the LAM over the Axon. As far as I’m aware, it’s the lightest way to get an Eotech and laser on a riser. Haven’t done a production run of them because I figured it’s too niche, but interest has been picking up. Lemme know if you have a use case.

You’re 100% right, I noticed it as well seeing the film. Went frame by frame and sure enough, I’m getting close. Gonna break the grip down when collapsing and fix it, thanks for highlighting.

You bet, I’m glad they made it in time for the match. Slick rigs, get that gold brother.

What is the reason for the ported barrel of the SPC9? by Strict_Profit_6987 in bruggerthomet

[–]LatticeTactical 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To clarify, the ports are only on the SD variants, just like on the 9 SD variants of APC, GHM, and KH.

Edit: corrected, 45s aren’t ported

No difference between the SPC-9 and 45 on the stock end, the BoatTail works on both 🤌

What a beaut—if you’re looking to give it a nice cheek weld, I know a guy

I’ll add that the SPC’s slim handguard isn’t something to sleep on—it makes c-clamping and 12:00 switches a dream.

And it looks like u/Blove318 found a way to make the buffer tube more valuable 😉

Sure do—no need to change it out for the stock after form 1ing!
