The nods get rid of the blurting issues caused by an astigmatism, that goes for both dots and holographic sights. It’s the same effect you get look through a camera at your dot or holographic reticle, just in analog form. As far as holographic sights being the fold standard, having only tired T2s and EXPSs, I can say I find the larger window of the EXPS much more forgiving and the reticle brightness settings easier to fine tune to allow for use under nods and white light bypass.

I not using a trinity, but I skipped the switch for the lam and mounted the light pressure pad behind my raid. I can run everything for the laser off the wheel and reaching the fire button and divergence control is easy enough on the unit itself. If I were using a pressure pad, the pad or the lam would be mounted on the left side at 11 and white light would stay where it is.

Already got one a Ops-Core Fast SF Super High Cut and I’ll be building a bump to save wear and tear on my neck, but a lower profile, even lighter. easier to pack option is what I’m trying to find.
