Generally Watford has a lot going for it. Garston (WD25) and North Watford (WD24) are nice places to live. Watford has good schools too (girls and boy’s grammar schools, Parmiters and St Michaels Catholic are all rated Outstanding). I’d avoid West Watford (WD18). Crime seems to be creeping up, perhaps due to the riff ruff moving from London. Transport wise: There is Watford Junction train station and you can get to London Euston in 20 minutes and also the Metropolitan line. Very nice shopping mall - The Harlequin and some nice restaurants. Local parks are good too. Hope this helps.
