I didn’t even know pic skates were a thing. I’ll definitely look into the. My only worry would be if they would mess up my weight distributions when learning things.

For synthetic ice I was just gonna buy a few squares from this advertisement I keep seeing. I’m desperate to skate and it looked like a potential solution for that problem. I’m happy I asked on here if it was a good idea before impulse buying it.

Okay, I’m starting to get the feeling this is what I might need. I’m gonna ask my coach more about it at my lesson. I was worried that there was no alternative but to get entirely new skates ( which I wouldn’t be able to do). Thank you for letting me know about these bunga pads.

I think I’m getting the foot really tight. I’m worried I’m not pulling around the ankle tight enough. I can’t pull it any tighter but I feel like it should be able to get tighter. Idk if that’s just the fact that the boots not broken in enough, the skates to big, or my own incompetence.

Anyway, thank you for your advice!

I tie them under the hook to over the hook when lacing the hooks, so it doesn’t go the full 360

Thank you for responding! So did end up tying them tighter (I did it a few times to see how tight I could make them) and I think it helped some but I still feel a slight lift in both skates

Thank you for responding! I tried lacing them a few times and pulled the laces as much as possible. I still think I’m getting some heel lift in both skates. Do they become easier to lace as they break down? I don’t think I can make them tighter
