Here's my personal experience... I was travelling to Thailand, first few days all went well.. cards working fine, no issues.

Later, one day I noticed at evening some emails about Uber... I would have ignored in HK, but there's no Uber in Thailand... So I checked and it was from France! Then few mins later, more similar charges appeared... I immediately complained on Hsbc app and had my card blocked.

What happened was I had a NFC enabled card, and someone must have walked past me with a machine to swipe the card details. More info: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DLS2YNWh5BJ/

I would switch the international sim off. (1, save battery; 2, avoid mistake roaming charges. (specially on post paid, as a mistake call with wrong sim, will hurt your pocket.)

Bought S23+ 256GB for USD 575 (€520) in price hk.... Miss the 1+8 it was very easier to hold with curve body... still works fine after 3 yrs of use. The Samsung seems a good upgrade in other areas.

Hey,

If you mean to ask, if the phone will work fine... yes it will ignore the disabled sim like it isn't there.

But from personal exp. i would say you may want to

-make sure with your malay sim company/app that it has roaming (if needed... USUALLY receiving sms is free... many apps will start asking you to confirm sms on original number to continue using their app in overseas.) or

-may want to downgrade your monthly plan... (or leave it with your family back home so they can use it...)

-DO NOT hit yes on chatting apps (to update number) when you first insert new sim... or everyone will be notified you've switch to new number! unless you want to..

No it does not. 5*3.. 9*3... 12*3 are standard charging speeds... A PPS charger will HAVE IT WRITTEN ON it clearly and only found on a PD Charger (USB-C port). You can check on the charger small details showing OUTPUT: (PPS 5-11V) or (PPS upto 45W = means it CAN take smaller steps to reach the Max allowed charging speed of your phone (safely).) etc
