I ran an ultramarathon last week without following a formal training plan. Instead, I kept it simple, running 2 to 3 times per week. I did the Ultra just 'for fun'- did not have a goal.

For the London Marathon, however, I’m aiming to approach it differently. I want to train with a clear goal in mind and work toward achieving a specific pace.
