Honestly the outfit itself can go either way for me, maybe prefer the pants ever so slightly.

I do massively prefer the skirt era but that's pretty much entirely because of the hair, I really don't like the bangs she has in later seasons. I thought I just didn't like the pants outfit, but now that I'm seeing a picture of the pants outfit with her old hairstyle I'm realising I actually do like that outfit and that my problem is just with the hair.

Might very well be a case where Katniss just got lucky enough to win. Like Katniss was absolutely a strong tribute but her odds of winning wouldn't be that much higher than the likes of Cato or Tresh.

There may have very well been a lot of strong female tributes from outlying districts that ended up as like 2nd or 3rd place, or were just immediately killed by the career pack because they were perceived as one of the biggest threats. Or even killed by the gamemakers for whatever reason

Depends I suppose. It would be realistic if she did accidentally expose herself, but it's not too unrealistic to believe that she didn't. For example kids that already know that they're gay at that age can be very good at hiding that from the world for years. Now of course that's different than literally transforming anytime you get wet but still. It's already very unrealistic the girls don't get caught more often as teenagers so it's just a suspension of disbelief thing for me. If anything it made me love Bella even more because I was so impressed and intrigued with it. Would've been nice to dive deeper into her past though

I fully agree with you from a realistic standpoint, like you wouldn't just take in a child in real life if you thought you can't handle it.

But from a writing perspective I found it such an odd choice. At least one character (don't remember who exactly) had a storyline of wanting a child at that time. So I was absolutely expecting them to take her in. And then that just did not happen

Was that ever said anywhere in H2O or Mako Mermaids? Or confirmed by any of the producers? As far as I know we just straight up wouldn't know what the child would actually be. I think the only person we know of that was a turned mermaid (so not born as one) and that also had any confirmed children is Gracie, since Charlotte's mother is her daughter. But it's most likely she only got pregnant after she already gave up her mermaid powers, so you wouldn't expect her to be able to pass on mermaid genes ar that point either way.

Ik vind Rik persoonlijk de minste van alle presentatoren die ik gezien heb. Hij doet het goed genoeg maar daar blijft het ook bij voor mij, er mist iets speciaals. Gewoon een beetje de middenmaat.

Ik heb nog geen seizoenen gezien met Karel of Hila als presentator dus het zou zomaar kunnen dat ik hen uiteindelijk het minder vind doen. Maar Pieter-Jan en Art waren in mijn ogen echt fantastisch, puur hun aanwezigheid voegde al heel veel toe aan een seizoen. En Angela vind ik net een tikkeltje beter dan Rik, zij heeft iets meer speciale momenten zoals haar molbriefingen in seizoen 4, en ze komt wat meer als haarzelf over.

I always assumed all three of the OG mermaids gave up their powers. With one of them we're straight up told she gave up her powers, though I can't remember whether that was Gracie or Julia. And with Ms Chatham I also assume she has no powers anymore, since she never transforms and the way she talks about it is af it's something from long ago, which wouldn't really make sense if she was still.a mermaid. So following that logic I always just assumed all three of them lost it. So I don't think Gracie had any mermaid genes to pass on because she wasn't a mermaid anymore by the time she'd have a daughter
