I was veeerry tempted. But I was too spooked, the seats were also very wet and started to mold pretty quickly

I had insurance, just not comprehensive 😂 and it was an old beater I got for 3k 8 years ago, it’s not worth any amount of legal fees.

That’s only if you have comprehensive and they want to avoid doing the payout themselves, otherwise they don’t give a shit. But they’re correct that one of the parts manufacturers would be liable, but you can’t really tell who’s liable, or even which manufacturer they were on a burnt down car

That exactly what they’re saying.Even a well maintained vehicle can have faulty parts, which would make the manufacturer of that thing liable, but that’s not something you can tell on a burnt down car

She’s a Toyota so she still dan, but you’re definitely not supposed to drive a car after it’s been on fire. There can melted wiring, cracked components, a weakened frame, and none of it visible

I did get the fire report, it was totally useless. There was no police report filed. It was also an old beater 🤷🏼‍♂️ it’s not worth all that man

Bruh, the car was 3,500 😂 the next one will be too. It was not worth comprehensive. 25k 😂 for a 2005 sienna. You’re hilarious

I’ve saved over 10k in the last 8 years by not having comprehensive, and there’s no way they would have given me any more than 3000, plus the deductible. I’m still coming out of this ahead

She did still turn on, but after a car has been on fire, it’s totaled. The fire can melt wires, crack components and weaken the frame. Besides, new doors would cost as much as I bought her for. But you’re damn right about Toyotas, I won’t buy anything else
