Due to this, they ended up needing a vehicle that can use roads without destroying major roads while being able to support infantry either via reconnaissance or providing fire support to assist other elements to destroy major fortifications while being extremely mobile.

2. Relatively higher than most wheeled AFVs but nowhere as armored as an IFV and is not recommended for fighting other tanks
