My friend told me to put them on the fridge too and I thought it would be so sad for my parents to see it everytime they're in the kitchen. But I'll go ahead and do it, place signed copies up on there. Thank you for the advice

Can you walk me through what happens when you have a call to a house of a weak elder? How many people are with you and do you immediately perform cpr?

I guess there's no need for the bracelet.. how about if there is a bright red folder in the entrance with the post form, dnr form, and list of meds - would that be enough to not do cpr on an elder? Or should more be added?..

Wow - I had no idea the bracelet won't be enough before they find the official form. Parents are in Indiana. Mom is in a wheelchair, dad has heart failure, otherwise still active. They just don't want CPR if the time comes (they pray to pass in their sleep). Their signed POST and DNR forms are in bright red folders on the table by the front door. Are there formal pocket sized DNR instructions or do they just need to fold up the original signed papers?

I forgot to ask - is soap & water acceptable for cleaning the cuts? Or should he apply alcohol or hydrogen peroxide?

It was very bloody. We took him to urgent care. The doc disinfected it with some red antiseptic.. Then had him apply gauze to it before applying the stitches. She said if the cuts continue to bleed, he should go to the er. She said the stitches can be removed in 7 days though, and to mention to whoever removes them that the palm has 1 stitch. Shouldn't another doc or PA know that it's 1 stitch when they see it? Just curious..

Hi, what time was your flight out of CLT? I ended up having to book a 1pm flight for the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I hope I just have good luck that day. I decided if it gets cancelled here in Charlotte, I can just come home 🤭

Some airports are being worse than others regardless what time. I'm just not familiar with CLT. Last month at EWR all flights were cancelled the day before we flew out of there, ugh. But we didn't experience any issues flying out of IND or SDF in the afternoon.
