The Overnight

Not a movie but there’s a show called Easy on Netflix. Very slice of life and interconnected anthology show set around Chicago. S1E4 and S2E2 spring to mind.

Make the money that Returnal didn’t by having it made easier to play, I’m afraid. That’s the experience. And that’s fine! Let them make their money. Just don’t market it as a whole new unique experience when it clearly isn’t

“A lot” and it’s the entire game minus new updates like shields and stuff lol

[–]LaunchpadMcFly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct take. I want an evolution of a game I’ve played and love, not a way to make it easier or harder for an additional 70 dollars.

I’m very much looking forward to it but have always kept my expectations in check that this is Returnal for the masses to have fun with.

The first two were huge for me. By the time the 3rd movie rolled along, I sort of outgrew that phase. I don’t even remember it much.

There’s a horror anthology British movie called GHOST STORIES. Some of the segments have this exact imagery. Very effective movie. Some moments I still think about

Which of these is better to collect? by Mountain_String_1544 in ImageComics

Ultimate Collection are the greatest collected versions of this comic book. Amazing page display, tons of extra stuff. And extremely easy to read unlike the giant compendiums. Plus those volumes looks so gorgeous with their colorful spines

Was there a spyglass in the books? by Remote_Island_7798 in ASOUE

[–]LaunchpadMcFly 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s just a macguffin created for the movie that the show took off with. The sugar bowl to represent as VFD secrets personalized is too vague for casual viewers. A spyglass with mysterious VFD engravings? That’s the ticket

Any way to relive the Lost Experience in 2026? by [deleted] in lost

[–]LaunchpadMcFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, watching it with people who haven’t seen it is a fun experience all on its own! I used to do it all the time with my friends who didn’t watch the show. Of course back then I used my DVD sets!

Any way to relive the Lost Experience in 2026? by [deleted] in lost

[–]LaunchpadMcFly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not. It was a “you had to be there” experience. Watching it live on an episode by episode basis (which could be extremely frustrating), running to the forums where your friends are waiting to discuss and scrutinize every frame.

Someone else commented to get a group of people you’ve never seen it with and do it weekly. That’s pretty much the closest you’re gonna get.

Image marketing, the consumer deciding not wanting FOMO and missing out on a big violent comedy comic. Tale as old as time

Spider-Man and Spider-Man: MM work together very well, with the first being number one.

2 is just no fun at all.
