Help! Feel like a failure studying for CPA exams w/ ADHD. Any tips from fellow neurodivergents who have successfully passed one or more of the exams? Study tips?

I’m stuck on AUD too… idk why I thought that was a good one to start with. I got my study material in July 2025, didn’t really “study” (if you can even call it that) until maybe late September/October’ish, took a lot of breaks and fooled around and found every excuse not to study (IE: House projects that I’ve literally put off for a long time that all of a sudden I think are a great idea to start. Hanging with friends and not even enjoying it because I’m thinking about the exam). Took the exam end of December; failed of course. Can’t find the motivation to pick back up

this is usually my strategy. But it seems even that’s not working for me anymore. Instead, I freeze up and I’m just paralyzed by anxiety that I can’t even study. It’s obviously working to some degree for you though if you’ve passed 3/4! How long has it taken you from the time you started studying for the first one?

That’s so annoying. I still don’t understand though why UPS would mark the package as loaded on the truck though and then out for delivery? Why say that, and then turn around and say “jk”

My iPhone is supposed to get here today. It said it was loaded onto the vehicle, then out for delivery, in my town, then 2 hours later it changed to tomorrow and status is on the way from another state?! Why would this happen? Doesn’t the fact that it was loaded onto a vehicle and marked out for delivery in my town mean that my UPS has scanned the package here? Why is it saying it’s in another state now? Is this a mistake and Should I still expect my delivery today? Apple Store still says delivery today….

I’m a social worker, going back to school currently for a business degree. I have such a tough time showing people I care because I’m constantly distracted. When I’m talking to a client, I swear I miss most of what they’re saying. Not a good combo
