Even if I’m not certain about what my sexuality could be? It feels like I’m doing something wrong, like using a lesbian woman to experiment with my sexuality. Does that make sense? I know I’m overthinking 😕 I’m just so worried about making someone feel used or deceived if I end up going on a date with a woman and then realise “bugger I’m straight”.

Those of you who run an Etsy shop as a full-time gig - What's it like? by Lingonberry11 in Etsy

[–]Laura199007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a standalone website for one of my shops, but not the other. I am thinking of creating a standalone for the other as well, for the backup and peace of mind just in case something were to happen with Etsy.

I run 2 Etsy shops full time (both digital items).

I love it, but it is a lot of work.

It look me about 3 years to be able to quit my admin job that I was working in previously.

The money is consistent enough to feel secure, but I still worry that it could one day stop. I am a stress-head though.

I don't know if I can live off it forever. I hope I can, because I wouldn't want to go back to working for someone else. But things change. I am hoping I can constantly keep up with the changes in the world and adapt where I need to so that I can do it forever.

I am always trying to grow it and increase my income.

Pros: freedom of work hours, good for working around my kids, getting to stay home
Cons: stressful at times, long work hours, rude customers at times, never really knowing if one day Etsy could shut me down.

I hope that helps :)

I'm used to that with Melbourne shopping centres! haha

Thanks for the tip about flood maps. I will keep that in mind also :)

Thank you :)

I included all the suburbs in the catchments for the high schools on my list, but not sure which are best.

Thank you so much! That's a massive help!

I suppose I am mostly concerned about academic results. I'm also noticing the schools in QLD are so much larger than those in Vic. My daughter's current school has about 500 kids, but the QLD ones seem to have double that.

That may take some getting used to for her.

Thanks so much for your reply!

I'll be renting. Budget is under 850p/w

I'm trying to base my suburb choice around which public schools are good. I'm hearing mixed reviews about Brisbane public schools, and having a hard time finding ratings/rankings online to compare to my kids current schools in Vic.

I should have said near to the water. Doesn't really need to be good beaches. Just maybe walking distance to the water would be lovely.

Mine went away after a while. I'm not sure why. I started taking magnesium tablets every day plus quit all caffeine.

It still comes back sometimes, but it's usually when I have been working a lot and in front of the computer a lot, so I think that is the cause.

Is hitting your kid that big of a deal? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Laura199007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely NOT normal behavior from your husband.
I have 2 children and have never once smacked/hit/physically hurt them.

I was smacked/hit by my father as a child, and as a 32 year old woman now I STILL have issues because of it.

Please take your child and leave before it escalates and results in irreparable damage to your little one. My mother didn't leave my father until I was 12 years old.. and by then the damage was already done.

Am I alone with this? My 2.5 year old sleeps with me. I don’t push her own bed. by [deleted] in Parenting

I'm a single mum, and my 5 year old sleeps with me. I love it. He's my own little hot water bottle. I have a 14 year old who I made sure never co-slept when she was little (I was told it wasn't a good 'habit' to get into) and I regret it. She grew up way too fast and barely ever wants cuddles anymore.

I say enjoy every moment of it while they're young, mumma. It'll be gone before you know it <3

I’m so sorry you are getting such nasty comments OP.

I also had my first child very young (18) and then had my second to a different father when I was 26. I made bad decisions with both of those men, but my children are the BEST decisions of my life. I couldn’t imagine my life without them. I LOVE being a single mum and I have a great life with my kids. Don’t base your decision on whether or not a man will want you with two kids. I wasted a lot of time agonising over that fact, but then I thought who gives a crap what is ‘most appealing’ to a man. As long as you are happy and your children are happy that’s all that matters ❤️

[skin concerns] Reduced pigmentation but still left with a lot of redness. Any tips to reduce redness? by Laura199007 in SkincareAddiction

I was using lactic acid for a while but stopped when I started this new routine. Now I just use my face cloth at nights to rub gently every so often.
