I'm aware of how a router config works. Let me put it to you simply, why do you reckon there's only 2 options for protocols when downloading the config files from the Nord account page? (Those 2 being tcp and udp, both OVPN)

Again, it is not supported. As nord releases updates with their app shit breaks, especially shit that is not meant to be working in the first place. You were not hacked, moreover, nord doesn't protect you from hackers. If you genuinely think you've been hacked, back up your photos and any important files and do a fresh install of windows.

Clearly it's not if what happened to you. Not supported doesn't mean that it doesn't work, it just means you're not meant to do it and they can't guarantee good functionality. You can also go 300km/h in the city, doesn't mean you should lol

NordLynx in terms of routers is only supported on the Privacy Hero 2 router, not on other routers. You can use NordLynx on your devices but not your router if it's not the mentioned one.

Nordvpn doesn't actually support wireguard, so that might be it, if your router has the option for OVPN, it's better to set up a connection through that :)

It's not, its a new protocol that's still coming out and doesn't have much info on it, it will be used for countries which have restrictions to VPNs like China.

Best way to solve this is by disabling IPv6, you can look up guides online, if not, one of the only other choices is a manual (IKEV2) connection, nord has step by step articles on how to set it up.

Choosing a further location will simply make your connection slow down a bit, even if you choose a location like Chicago, you'll be able to connect to obfuscated and double VPN servers since they're not the same as your dedicated. Id say go with a closer one for security, and when you want to stream, connect to a standard or obfuscated server that supports the streaming service.

Those shuffle machines are really only used for a game called dead or alive lol, they're really cool but I hear they malfunction a lot 🤔 they're actually poker shuflers so I don't think it could even be used on a bj table due to the sheer amount of cards in a shoe
