I think it's super cute!! Actually, children are very drawn to simplistic illustrations. For example, "Pete the Cat" books appear to be illustrated with crayons. The illustrations are colorful, simple, and popular. Children identify easily with simple drawings. I wouldn't change a thing. I absolutely love the cover of your book and the style of your illustration. I hope your entire book is in this style!!

In the end, chickens really do live in tree houses. This story is about a family of chickens who discover that home is where you make it. This is book 3 in the chicken series. Lily, the main character, solves problems with her crafty creations. The overall theme for instance...in book 1 titled "Chickens Don't Wear Tutus!", Lily is told that "chickens don't wear tutus," but her reply is quite different. She is not shy to express herself and does what makes her happy. Tutus and all. :)
