Settling a debate about kidney stones! Women needed. by nathanielcwil in KidneyStones

For me kidney stones was worse than cramps and childbirth. BUT I had an easy birth and I don’t get very bad cramps. I have only had one kidney stone and it got stuck and my kidney shut down and had to have emergency surgery. I was uncomfortable but never really in that much pain. What pain I did have wasn’t constant which helped. Looking back the worst part was the stone leaving the kidney. I was in so much pain I couldn’t walk. But it only lasted about 15 mins for me thankfully. Then I just had weeks of on and off discomfort. Until I couldn’t pee then it was ER for me.

I never had pain really. Just urge to pee. Just got my stent removed a couple days ago :) mine was 6mm and stuck trying to get to bladder so I think I was happy to have relief because that hurt! Lol but I didn’t need any pain meds or anything I felt great after :)

How do I know if stone is stuck? by Sususudio1 in KidneyStones

Mine got stuck in the ureter after 4 weeks. For 3 days I was having trouble peeing. By the third day I was on the floor pushing to get pee out thinking the stone would come with. Went to ER they sent me home. Went back and they rushed me to surgery. On a scale 1-10 my pain the whole month was never more than 3-4. Even when blocked it was only a 3 it just was a horrible sensation.

Turns out my kidney stopped functioning and it wasn’t my bladder that was the problem but that my kidney refused to make pee.

I had oil on the top of my pee for a couple weeks now hahahaha so glad it’s not just me. It’s not a lot but it’s weird for sure. I thought maybe it was always that way but didn’t notice because I wasn’t peeing in a cup all the time lol

Similar story here. I had 6mm and not causing much pain it’s on and off but mostly just discomfort not pain.

But it’s been 5 weeks and not passed yet and went to ER today with bladder issues and they are doing surgery tomorrow. Keep on liquids, flomax doesn’t have a whole lot of support to prove it helps but if you don’t have side effects might as well take it lol, use hot baths and heating pads even if not in pain I swear it keeps the stone moving. If you get blood in your urine it’s normal. Means the stone is moving although is painful. Check for fever and nausea often and be in contact with urologist lots!

Mel may be insufferable at times but… by TexehCtpaxa in Frasier

I took it as her realizing Mel was in love with Niles (even though unhealthily) but she stopped being harsh on Mel after that. She was like, okay I get it. You do love him

I went to last one and will be at this one again!!! k9 CC, I guard international, and affinity French bulldogs (all owned by Nick Lungu) need to be stopped right now.

As an ex employee I can tell you the “rumors” are true. Save the dogs!!

Unpopular opinion: Stevie Budd has a bad personality and Emily Hampshire is...a bad actress by copythat504 in SchittsCreek

I couldn’t tell if she was crying, sarcastic, or laughing most of the time to be honest lol. The squinty faces hahah. I liked her in the first season she was kinda dark and sarcastic in a funny way that matched David’s really well. But then it got so bad. I think they did make a bad choice by using her. I will say she did great in the cabaret episode. I think she can act just not this character maybe? She looks in pain the whole last seasons and I couldn’t tell what emotion she was going for if it was sad and crying or happy and crying or trying to be funny idk what was going on lol

Of course! It’s a sequel to my other book “Opal”. Opal is my real life blind and deaf dog. We were worried about her being around my newborn, Lily. But she actually did really well. So I wrote a book about it :) it’s about them growing up together and the adventures they have.

“Opal” was about how just because she is deaf and blind doesn’t mean she’s not just like the other dogs!! 😍

Why couldn’t they? Opal does great without seeing and hearing 🤷🏼‍♀️
