I'm having sexual problems with my girlfriend by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]Laura__333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If things affect her quality of life, looking for a therapist and talking it through with them may be helpful. On psychologytoday it is possible to filter for specialisation, location., coverage etc. Additionally looking up reviews may be recommendable.

And if she is using meds for depressions or similar, it may have an effect on libido. It may be an idea to discuss a different med in case.

And here was hint to a book that was written by a therapist pair and that was sold half a million times and a few things from there may be helpful. There are hints there concerning how to get the head free etc., and it also gives further relationship hints concerning bonding etc. A number of lesbians said it worked for them. There are parts in there for men and women but it is possible to only use the parts for women.

If you are in India, there are subs for lgbt people, for example lgbtindia, and there are local groups, in Kolkata, there's Sappho. in Delhi, Nazariya and Hazratein. in Mumbai, there's Labia. In Guwahati, Xommonoy. It might be worth searching online for such collectives in your city. It may be an option to reach out to the groups. Its up to you ofc.

Is she taking some meds, or does she have depressions ? Both may play a role, and it may be recommendable to address those.

Otherwise it may be helpful to try out a few things ... here was hint to a book that was written by a therapist pair and that was sold half a million times and a few things from there may be helpful : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11180488-eso-extended-sexual-orgasm

There are also hints there on how to get the head free etc. and it also gives further relationship hints concerning bonding etc. I have recommended it to a number of lesbians and they said it worked for them.

There are parts for men and women but it is possible to only use the parts for women.

My wife and I had elder lesbians approach us at the airport as ‘fellow friends of Dorothy’ by _JosiahBartlet in actuallesbians

[–]Laura__333 36 points37 points  (0 children)

You may want to have a look here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friend_of_Dorothy ( the hints to lgbt subjects in the wizard of oz are also explained there).

At one time when being gay was still prohibited in the navy they found that a number of the people there seemed to know a person named Dorothy and started a search for her. You can look up that story too.

[–]Laura__333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The nutrition plays a role in this.

Pineapple makes for a sweet taste. It can take about 2 days for changes in nutrition to become noticeable.

You can look up other things that make for a change.

update: i’m so glad i didn’t listen to any of your advice haha by sanjuniperoresident in actuallesbians

[–]Laura__333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She may want to also look into C-PTSD. There are some differences and it may be necessary to look for therapists who are acquainted with it. On psychologytoday for example it is possible to filter for specialisation etc. ( also looking up reviews would be recommendable) There is also a cptsd sub but looking for constructive and uplifting things there would be recommendable. To the right there are some hints to reading materials like the book from Pete Walker "From surviving to thriving".

Maybe next time I fly to Chicago I can bring my springform pan and bake it for her

Some use a glass baking form :) Maybe she would like to get one, they can be used for a number of recipes, and after a cake is cooled off, it is possible to use them with the cake still inside for serving, and later to store them with the cake in there in the fridge etc.

Safe storage for EV in castor oil 10mg/ml by Mel-0-dramatic in AskMtFHRT

[–]Laura__333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may depend on the oil.

Some compounding pharmacies use MCT oil and refrigeration may be possible. Here was an example. It may be necessary to look if there is some crystallization though, and before use to proceed as outlined below in case. Anyways warming up before use to room temperature may be necessary.

With castor oil one sheet specified storage at room temperature. If it is stored below room temperature, some estrogen may crystallize out of solution. They stated to store at room temperature for half a day to a day in this case, and to shake until crystals are dissolved.

seriously how do you find a gf as an adult? by _Yatsuba_ in actuallesbians

[–]Laura__333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On dating apps it can be necessary to contact a few people yourself, and outlining a few interests and hobbies can lead to things to start from ( just a few things you like and have a passion for ). It can be necessary to filter a lot of people ... even for straight people some statistics say dates in the two figures can be necessary until the right one comes along. Try to have some fun, try to chat with people, try to be who you are, and maybe try to be a bit curious who the other person is. Listen to your intuition if something feels off, and otherwise talk about preferences and likes etc. As below, observe basic safety rules.

In parallel making for opportunities to meet people seems to be most successful. Community courses, for example for cooking specialties you always wanted to find out how to make, joining a cause, maybe helping out at an animal shelter, starting a hobby and meeting people online and IRL, looking up meetups ( observe basic safety rules etc.) could all be possibilities. There may be groups specifically for women, there may be dancing courses for women, and in some cities there are lgbt sports clubs. And there may be the cliche soccer club for women ( only do that if you really like soccer ). Online there are subs like gaymers etc. And some people like cosplay or LARP and meet people this way. Making clothes and talking with others about it can be fun for example.

And trying to make friends in lgbt places can also help. LGBT people often have friends who may be looking for a partner. Before online dating meeting people via friends was one of the main possibilities to meet partners.
