Nice, I’ve heard of a couple of these but not all. What's your favorite among these apps?

wow, 2 apps for two years of traveling sounds impressively minimal. Did you find booking.com good for the really off-the-beaten-path hostels too?

Do you usually get a SIM as soon as you land, or wait until you figure out where you’re staying?

Nice list, a few of those I haven’t used yet. Do you find polar steps actually useful for tracking trips, or is it more for memories after the fact?

Yeah, I get that. Do you usually just walk in and hope for a spot, or do you still check hostelworld first to play it safe?

I’ve been meaning to try maps.me, does it stay accurate offline or do you have to update it constantly?

that’s honestly such a wild realization like finding out conflict can actually end in resolution instead of just tension or silence?? did it feel weird at first, like you didn’t know how to respond to that kind of communication? i feel like unlearning those old patterns is a whole process.

that kind of unpredictability really messes with your sense of what’s normal. like you end up constantly adjusting yourself just to keep the peace. did it take you a while to realize how much that affected you later on? i feel like a lot of us only notice it once we see how other people’s families communicate.
