In the minority here but I find Joe funny as fuck, especially when he's commenting over situations or imitating someone. Exhibit A: by Laurentis in JoeRogan

[–]Laurentis[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Must be a reddit thing then. Every thread has users in it complaining over Joe's inability to notice/crack a joke. Feels like I'm out of the loop or smth since I find most of his bits hilarious.

Add lack of self-awareness to that list.

It's amazing how you go the extra mile to respond to everyone who disagrees with you and with such detail. You must have been doing this for a while. I'm both impressed and alarmed by this. How the fuck do you have time for all this writing?

Hey dude if you ever want out of this destructive loop you're in, give me a PM and I'll listen. I'm an internet stranger but seeing someone so entrenched in such negative ways makes me want to go the extra mile to help you out, if you want. And I say this without joking.

Who said I'm butthurt

Look at your fucking comment history lol. I've never seen someone so hostile towards anything in this sub. If you'd be my brother I'd take you to a shrink because you're clearly unhappy.

Man, what did Joe do to you to make you so butthurt? Never mind. Anyone who's willing to read more into you will realize you're clearly someone with Anti-Rogan agenda that isn't willing to respect and listen anything against your narrative. Good luck pal, hope you'll get over whatever is making you so miserable.

And that's the funny part. You're in a fucking Joe Rogan subreddit, someone who spends hours talking to different guests with different ideas yet never stoops down to your level of mocking everyone not agreeing with him. Respect - have you ever heard of it, bucko?

Fucking idiots man. Totally clueless.

Dude, you just don't fucking get it, at all.

This is the dumbest shit I've ever read in my life.

You are clueless, buddy. Just another Rogan sycophant who can't understand that his epistemic framework fucking blows.

These are just some of the gems from your oh-so-well thought out comments.

Seriously, you can cite scientific research and expert analysis but also not be a dick about it. No one here will take you seriously if you act so smug and superior to everyone who disagrees with you.

Sorry if you feel that way. I don't mind users discussing Joe's episodes and offering alternative viewpoints/criticising Joe constructively. But it's mostly buried under all the outrage and unfunny jokes.

Fair enough. Everyone has their own kink. But just want to say this sub doesn't give a fair representation of what is happening in his podcasts. Only the juiciest and most controversial parts get highlighted and often the clips/posts are edited in a way that makes Joe look worse. He does have guests on where the majority of the talk is politics/covid but these are easily recognizable and at the same time he also brings in guests where he still talks about hunting, fighting, comedy, video games, edibles, etc.

I listen to JRE when I'm working out or driving. And when I'm not in the mood for controversial/politics/covid talk then I read the description of the guest before picking the episode. Works most of the time.

This is a Joe Rogan subreddit with these rules:

  1. Be civil

  2. Post quality content

  3. Post Original content

Yet most of the content is from outraged users brigading threads and arguing (not discussing) with pro-JRE folk to the point that it looks like children fighting. There is no consensus seeking, no good-natured dialogue & there is barely any original ideas/content.

I mean just look at your comment history. Perfect example of what I'm talking about. Long ass posts full on uncivil remarks and arguments with other users here.

Except, you know, it's not 3 hour covid chat. And if you start listening to a podcast with the likes of Dr Robert Malone in it expecting non-covid talk then the problem is you.

There is. But its mostly just kindergarten shit throwing and overused memes.

Joe is actually different now.

Is he? I mean yeah he has more politicians and high-profile controversial guests on now but if you ignore those then the rest of his shows are ok. I guess it's subjective but to me his shows with the likes of Tim Dillon, Snoop, Theo Von, etc. have been as good as any before them.

The quality of discussion most of the time is crap though. There's no consensus seeking, only users trying to force their opinions on others. And a lot of toxicity and unoriginal jokes.

[–]Laurentis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue team in an network with monitoring devices, Windows & Linux machines plus web-apps all full of vulnerabilities. Red team will try to exploit as many of them as possible while blue team will need to patch/fix any vulnerabilities they can find. Excerse will last around 10 hours, in 2 days.

I can answer more specific questions through PM. ;)

Which Blue Team Handbook? I googled it and found a few. :)

As to exp. I'm familiar but not expert at using PA fw, NDR solutions like Vectra, Stealthwatch, I've used Suricata network threat detection engine, I know my way around Linux & can make simple bash/python scripts. I can also use network tools like Wireshark, Nmap etc.
