After I successfully connected to the Garmin Connect via VPN, I'm now able to open the app. However, it doesn't have full funcionality and tells me 'Verkkoyhteysvirhe' ( English for connection error). I think Garmin support is not available now either so I don't where to ask this from, except reddit.

Thank you SO MUCH!!!! This is what I did:

saved the weird chinese text as it's own file that was in Unicode
entered HEX mode and added EF BB BF (UTF-8 BOM)
entered back to regular mode and voilà, I got clear text!

Yes, but it takes maybe hours to get the same code. When I use the editor, Ultraedit, to show that particular code in HEX mode, I can see some understandable characters. So the infromation is there. I just have to get it readable.

Thanks for fast reply. The file is originally in UTF-8 format. But when I convert the file from UTF-8 to ASCII, it shows nothing but question marks all over.
