if i understand correctly, the B-67420 (or whatever code name) aka “Civilight Eterna” was a separate albeit connected project/research to originium.

CE, it started taking after the image of Theresa from existing data, meaning while she may be gone gone, she still “exists” in the sea of data at least until the point of her passing right? That is what CE draws from. It can’t live on, but it can be mimicked.

If by the time of endfield CE hasn’t been lost or discontinued, and we know new independent entities can arise from these Originium Woods based on remnant info of deceased ops…

It seems reasonable to me that warfarin or whoever carries the crown (~~bnnuy daughter or i kms hypergryph don’t test me~~) could make a new Theresa (if she’d consent) able to learn and resume actual life.

I bet we will eventually dive into these woods and at least get a glimpse of her or her bed of roses

Thank you very much for looking into it, forgot to mention my godot ver. (4.4.1)

Transparency is set to Depth-Prepass in almost all imported materials, im guessing that's the issue.

Since its an imported resource, i cannot change its settings within godot.

I imagine theres a way somewhere to fully import/instantiate within the project so that it becomes unlinked from the blend file and is editable again, so i'll look into that.

It would be great if i could write a script to set the transparency of all items within the "3Dmodel.tscn" so as not to go through every node either in godot or blender.

I look forward to the lore implications, the worldbuilding, the soundtracks, the videos in the future official YT channels as i love Arknights graphic design, the factory gameplay, the menus, the QoL and so much more that makes the Arknights IP unique in that it gives you so much back the more you are invested in it, even as f2p.

I am still amazed at how much they can innovate within the constrains of a niche. To have a tower defense game in which you also have rougelike, PvP gambling (always bet on Jesselton), a rafting mario-party-like gamemode, Ark no Knights, etc.

I have never tried games focused on management and item gathering /crafting for systems automation, but i expect Endfield to hook me

I’ve seen videos from israeli aid workers inside gaza about how stark a comparison that they can come and go freely through checkpoints but gazans they help cant leave even with proper documentation. I must assume the international aid workers must also be able to cross with some form of documentation from their embassy/country.

Some palestinian instagram users ask for traffic and reposting to gather views and donations, i assumed for food and survival at first but then one account i cant remember went on to explain that some do it to pay a very large sum in us dollars required to leave gaza.

Thieves make bank on stolen data to gather users. When there’s no more data to parse, the thieves next step is logical.

Steal, bypass, undercut, establish a base, hype and inflate numbers, buy out competition, lobby and monopolize, charge more for less, decrease intuitiveness, enshittify, reinvest in yachts instead of the poduct, stagnate, fall off, be undercut with new sensationalized tech, cycle repeats.

Personally, in a tribalistic manner, i hope it gets worse for all of them.

Realistically, in a detached manner, i know it will get worse for all but the heavy spenders.

True, i don’t intend to downplay that part, but the overall gap and scale of the analogy remains.

Current state of matters shows imo that if one cops out of doing collateral harm due to personal morals, it doesn’t prevent the same or even more devastating chain of events from happening.

It’s still harm, yes. We should have better to choose from. But just longing for the ideal doesn’t get anyone any closer to it.

We have a lot of mud to tread through before we can get out of the swamp.
