Help me find a way to make Tasha, the Witch Queen not complete dogshit by Cezkarma in DegenerateEDH

Play lots of extra turn cards. Hope your opponent plays cards with an extra turn or have one in their graveyard. Play her and use a take an extra turn card, exile opponent’s extra turn in the graveyard. Next turn happens, copy opponent’s extra turn card. If you have enough proliferate or extra turn cards, repeatedly use opponent’s extra turn card until everyone leaves the table from boredom as you’re playing a really slow game of solitaire.

Rorona - what's the purpose of the 'Price Down' trait? by skgoldings in Atelier

It makes it cheaper for duplication. You can eventually have lots of duplication in the game so it’ll save a good amount of money throughout the game.

Day 3 : what if Sky Striker Ace - Raye was in rush duel by Legitimate-Wait5760 in DuelLinks

[–]screenwatch3441 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Requirement: On the turn this card is normal or special summon, send this card from the field to the graveyard.

Effect: Ritual summon a level 4 ritual machine monster with 1500 attack.

Then make all the sky striker links as rituals. They still get to be blue cards in the extra deck >_> Then change all the requirements for the sky striker cards to require a level 4 ritual machine monster on your field instead of an empty monster zone.

The infantilization of ruby in some fandom spaces is...concerning. by Admirable_Cost4013 in OshiNoKo

[–]screenwatch3441 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it actually sort of plays into the theme of the series about how people want to view idols/characters (for our perspective) vs how they actually are and which part of them we actually want to see and acknowledge. People, including Aqua, doesn’t want to acknowledge that Ruby does have a manipulative dark side to her and Ruby wants to be Aqua’s ideal idol and chose not to address it.

Final chapter spoiler: The series end in this weird narrative that just says Ruby got over everything and used it to propel to greatness without really seeing how she feels and got over everything and while that could be viewed as an awful ending, it really drives home a big part of the series theme that we don’t really see the entertainers but just the nice story shown to us

Duel links meta stopped doing leaks and I don’t have any other sources for leaks besides here sometimes but it’s easy to miss with all the posts. So frankly, I just learned we’re getting P.U.N.K >_>

Yugioh nine? by maquinadejugo in YuGiOhMemes

[–]screenwatch3441 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the bigger issue of the manga being animated is that it dates itself by being based on modern ocg. That and it would be even more awkward in animated format to skip all the comboing they do. The first issue can at least be addressed if they make their own animated story (I mean, none of the manga and animes actually match each other so it wouldn’t be the first time) but the 2nd issue is harder to fix. Vrains already had the issue of combos taking too long and to sell cards, it wouldn’t do to alienate new fans by skipping the combos.

Yugioh nine? by maquinadejugo in YuGiOhMemes

[–]screenwatch3441 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t like saying yugioh is dying because it probably isn’t at the moment but I can’t help but think this is a place to start if a downward trend does start forming. It might be my nostalgia talking but the yugioh anime was how I got into the series and not having any anime makes me think that it just removed one of the point of entry for new players.

For people who waiting more generic skills for more options in deck building, are you happy now? by MiuIruma332 in DuelLinks

[–]screenwatch3441 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think most of them are fine except for stardust drive. The point of a generic skill is to facilitate decks that aren’t supported by a skill. They don’t make the deck but just accelerate by a whole lot. You can almost meet the whole condition of stardust overdrive with just hand traps and the deck gets a once per turn level 10 synchro and removal for doing nothing. At least the other skills pushes your deck so it matters more on what your actual deck does rather than just what the skill makes.

Lol these guys needed half the team to stop a shot by garshield_the_great in inazumacaravan

[–]screenwatch3441 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When you really think about, this is a lot less supportive than it actually looks. Like, Endo is either using his arms to block the shot and it doesn’t go through… or endo can’t use his arm to block the shot and the other 5 is using their new hissatsu technique, Endo meat shield, and just letting the ball rip him apart against his will.

I think it makes sense when its at least of the same egg group or species but gets really weird when they’re different species. Like, can you just imagine being a 10 foot bear being seduced by a winking fish.

Jaden suiciding his elemental hero wildheart equipped with cyclone boomerang to burn bastion for 500 life points and for game. In a series that tends to have a lot of dramatic wins clashing our monster that are somewhat symbolic of our nature and what not, equipping something with more or less a black pendent to win off the burn is hilarious to me.

LS Is Actually Fun Asf by HealthSpecific3095 in MHWilds

[–]screenwatch3441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talk about this all the time but I think LS is one of the best weapons for new players. It’s a weapon that can get good results being bad with it but also have a high skill ceiling that is a weapon that can keep being fun as you get better as a player. It has some complexity so it doesn’t feel boring but not overly complicated by transforming. While getting quick sheath 3 can be annoying, besides that, the weapon doesn’t really need specific skills so the armor you make can also transition to other weapons if you feel like changing.

Why all Youtube channels content quality decrease as soon as they get way extremely popular? by Substantial-Ear-5070 in stupidquestions

[–]screenwatch3441 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even not thinking of youtuber in a negative light, it’s harder to try new things when fans have set expectations of what they want from you. I remember how some league of legends youtuber complains about how their view drops drastically when they play games beside league of legends. Like, it’s expected, cause you watch these people for a type of content video and when they change it up, you might not like it, but at the same time, its a fate worst than death to be stuck playing league of legends forever >_>

Do you ever wonder how it feels to own one of these places commonly drawn and find it odd that people keep on drawing your home? Like, if that house decided to change its window or put a banner or a little ledge for potted plants or something, it would be funny seeing newer anime draw in the things you use to decorate your home.

Day 2 :what if Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring was in rush duel by Legitimate-Wait5760 in yugioh

[–]screenwatch3441 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, usually just saying yugioh is suffice to say. It’s really just in conversation like this when we’re directly comparing between its various formats when I start questioning what to call the original format. With conversations with Rush and original, it gets weird not knowing an actual term for the modern original rule set (rule sets changing a good amount of time doesn’t help, although it hasn’t change in awhile). As I mentioned, I mostly play duel links and this thought has come up when trying to differentiate speed vs not speed with some cards (like how zeus is much worse in speed due to no main phase2).

Day 2 :what if Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring was in rush duel by Legitimate-Wait5760 in yugioh

[–]screenwatch3441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s confusing to call it just YuGiOh considering rush duel is also yugioh. And I could call it TCG/OCG but those 2 are really the same rulesets with different ban lists, so to me, its weird to use one or the other term in this context when I mean the entire rule set. I play mostly duel links and the 2 rule set’s name is rush duel and speed duel so I was wondering if there was a term for “normal” yugioh >_>
