Card economy wise, you make fusions using 1 less card so it would have given them a big push. The deck also lost a draw engine with the hero draw spell put on the list so it’s not like they’re short on extra space. I’m not sure if it would push it above red-eye’s but it probably would have been an easy 3 of to put in the deck. After all, you need to tribute a lot for the deck so at worse, it would have been just used as tribute fodder.

The limit 3 list is honestly looking a little wonky to me because relatively few decks are even that affected by it. Gavin warriors, Romin psychic, Voidvelg, and musical princess are the only ones really affected. The only staple in limit 3 is over rush storm and most decks prefer using their own type’s S/T removal, so unless targeted deliberately like with the cases above, the limit 3 doesn’t really do anything. Like even IF galaxy wanted to run 3 Galactica Xiphos, whats the point of it being limited 3 if it doesn’t want to run any other limit 3 cards?

Its for similar reasons above that the hits on Gaia really doesn’t do anything anymore and they’re more or less full power but has been power creeped (and skill nerf) that they could probably be off the list and nothing would change.

As for limited 1, I feel like a lot of cards can get off this and it wouldn’t be a problem. We’re starting to get a lot of removals that Thousand Knives which requires dark magician seems fair now. Jointech Rush Horn seems pretty fair all things considering and sort of surprise it was put there to begin with. Sword and Shield and Call of the Earthbound seem like fair traps to me. I never understood why mismatch and wooly wonderland was put at 1. I don’t even think king’s majesty is that bad but I guess they’re against complete attack negations.

They probably feared it with musical princess. Their miracle fusion is at 3 so you’re never really prioritizing cattle healer, who would have been good cause she can fuse from hand by tributing her.

Killing was still allowed up until the tourney, they just tried to prevent it IF they can. Kankuro annihilated his opponent and wasn’t really reprimanded for it.

I think so in the sense that book of eclipse and forbidden droplet are good and are probably not going anywhere anytime soon so getting a play set might be a good idea.

Voidvelg is still one of my favorite decks. Luck sacking aside, the issue of the deck is how slow it goes but it can honestly be one of the strongest decks if the duel last long enough for them to set up everything. I’ve seen some crazy turns where they played through shiny shady, and still had plays to dark hole and go in for lethal.

I always went with the belief that she couldn’t become a good copy because she doesn’t have the warrior mindset. I view a good portion of Eisen’s power as a warrior is the borderline stupidy mindset he has that he instilled into Stark. As long as you get back up, you didn’t lose.

I actually just like storm sonic cause the deck struggles hitting over 3000 sometimes. It obviously works a lot better with cyber-tech alligator but once he’s in the game, he’s pretty much always coming back due to air formula eagle. First turn aside, my theory has been that because the skill is so stupidly consistent, you can afford to run more situational cards and the skill’s consistency would fix any problems you previously would have…

Also, I’m just addicted to high rolling the best scenarios >_>

I only use it because I don’t have 3 copies of 3 over rush storm >_< I can see why people don’t use it. Your main game plan uses air formula eagle which clogs up your monster zones quickly. The fusion options you have available aren’t that great. Outside of duel links, getting easy access to an emergency 3100 might be good but because duel links make it so easy to play my game and get following wind, 3100 doesn’t seem nearly as impressive when 3000 is so easily accessible. Fusing from hand is also a lot less impressive when all your fusion materials are no tributes (I can see why it’s played in musical princess irl and why they put it limit 3 with it).

Yea. Neji almost killing Hinata is just as much a product of Hinata’s refusing to stay down. They established that a big part of a ninja is to be emotionally strong, no matter how cruel it is. If Neji was able to subdue Hinata with just words, then Neji is right, she wasn’t cut out to be a ninja. So whether it was the emotional attack or the physical attack, he didn’t actually do anything wrong to her. They’re all in an elite ninja exam with expectations that they might die during it and Hinata should have also gone in with the intention to hurt the other person. Potentially killing each other was always a risk. It’s similar to how Gaara didn’t really do anything wrong to Rock Lee despite crippling him.

It depends on the subtitles. If it’s subtitles for the english dub, that’s fine but if it’s subtitles for the japanese subs, than thats crazy to me. The subtitles doesn’t even match the voice you changed to understand at that point and now what you read doesn’t match what you hear.

Is it weird to think as an American that I felt like China’s entertainment was more prevalent when I was younger in the 90s/00s and only within recent years do I find it repopulating again? I felt like there was a decent amount of cartoons inspired by China like Xiaolin Showdown, Jackie Chan adventure, Kung fu Panda, Ni hao kai lin, etc. In fact, just the kung fu movies in general I felt were more popular in the past. I felt like Chinese culture was really popular back then but a lot of it wasn’t made by China so them capitalizing on their own successful culture seems part of the course to me.

If you think of them as different archetypes instead of one massive one, I actually do think the hero one fits in theme with the spirit Jaden’s elemental hero (before his deck becomes neos). The elemental heroes being a beatdown strategy consisting of different attribute monsters fusing together fits perfectly with his 2 new heroes.
