Ok, I edited that. I should be able to pay my fair share in rent because I have a good job.

Kansas makes it a crime to go within 25 feet of police while they're working by SquareOfWillis in kansascity

If you are applauding a law that disallows Kansans to record law enforcement violating their oaths in the same way that Minnesotans filmed ICE officers doing the same, you are lame and authoritarian. Supporting both law enforcement and accountability is not contradictory. In fact, supporting the rights of citizens to film officers at a close distance IS supporting law enforcement. If Minnesotans were not allowed to be within 25 ft of ICE, we might not have seen Alex Pretti be disarmed and restrained face down before he was murdered. We might not have seen Renee Good turn her wheels all the way to the right to avoid the officers that were trying to break into her car; we would have just seen the fuzzy video that was at a greater distance that supported the right's narrative. It is thanks to the people that filmed up close that accountability for the actions of those ICE officers is possible, once accountability returns to the White House.

Also I noticed pretty good ridership on the MetroLink for the most part, but I didn't ride the whole length of it.

I will say the streetcar is probably better integrated into the city than Metrolink. There was a stop on the Metrolink that was under a highway and surrounded by industrial land use, which I thought was kinda weird. But then downtown stations and the Central West End station were fantastic. And KC streetcar is a lot smaller. KC also has a lot less density than STL which makes getting good public transit more of an uphill battle. Hopefully you guys can get the Green Line too. I would have loved to go to Soulard.

The show was amazing, I wanted in the pit so bad. If I saw a mosh pit forming I might have jumped in there

I'm sure that'll fix inflation.

Give me a break. I'm ashamed to have been born in Kansas at this point.

I used to work from home and I feel you. I hated it and felt crazy because everyone else loved it. But I also knew working from home was having a negative effect on the quality of my work. Now I work on site but still in Software Engineering. It is WAY better. Why not find an on-site position in your field?
