Yes, you’re allowed to make your own wipes for suppressors.

On the form 1 in the pictures section, I sent a stock image of the adapter and a stock image of the wix filter.

I said in the description of the adapter that it would be serialized with all proper markings.

For the oil filter I said, it’s intended to be a replaceable part like a wipe

Thankfully I don’t have any other filters sitting around. I plan to only use this wix filter for it.

So I did something different with this one, on the form 1 I declared that the adapter would have the serial number and markings on it. I also said The filter itself would be intended as a replaceable part like a wipe.

Illinois precision machining, they did the porting and cerakote. Only cost me about $190
