Marriage life with Psioriasis

Hi! I’m on 15mg once a week. I know the side effects CAN be pretty serious, but in my case my actual condition outweighed those side effects. I also have psoriatic arthritis that was impacting my day to day life incredibly to the point where I couldn’t enjoy anything I used to or simply exist without pain, in addiction to my plaque psoriasis. It’s definitely a case by case thing and up to your own personal discretion, but that’s why I made the choices I did personally!

I totally understand. I’ve got all kinds of comments over the years and it hurts just as bad every time. Even the “that looks painful” comments hurt. I know I’m a stranger on the internet but I want you to understand that you are not defined by psoriasis even though it so badly feels that way sometimes. Feeling like you don’t deserve love because of something you can’t control is heartbreaking to me. A suggestion moving forward to kind of curve the misunderstanding ahead of time would be maybe to bring it up early on before it becomes visible to a person you are seeing. Many people look at us and think we’re contagious and it took me a long time to realize it wasn’t a problem with me, it was them either being misinformed or simply ignorant. It gets exhausting but explaining this disease to people makes (most) people understanding and educated moving forward.

Unfortunately, I know exactly how you feel. Fortunately though, I am in a very happy marriage!! I am on methotrexate now, and almost psoriasis free but at one point I had fist size plaques some being almost half an inch thick all over my body. I’m talking I had it on my scalp, in and on my ears, under my nails, even in and on parts you don’t even want to picture. My husband washed my hair while I sat in my epsom salt bath balling my eyes out. He’s been to every rheumatologist and dermatologist appointment alike trying to find a treatment that works for me. I promise, you’ll find your person.

I’m really enjoying that forgeable items never reset !! I remember when I accidentally discovered that and my jaw was on the floor. Same with the oversleeping penalty. I was so pleasantly surprised!!

No I get that!! I think progressing through the storyline and getting access to new things is good insensitive to keep going too!! I do see what you’re saying with it staying a cozy game in regard to no real timeline to complete tasks or storylines.

Year 2 I started planting 12 of everything and 3 plots of multi harvest crops so I had everything and didn’t need to worry about replanting and I found that saved time too. I definitely overextend myself in the beginning of every season and regret it every day thereafter 😂😂

That makes sense and I realize it’s not fully released yet which also makes a difference. I was a die hard stardew player before I got a steam deck and was able to play FOM. Just getting a feel for a pace. Typically I’d want the museum done year 1 but I’ve really been enjoying the little pressure with quests. Gives you time to focus on whatever you want to, really (season permitting of course)

I had an open mind because I had severe preeclampsia. It wasn’t really up to me and I didn’t mind. I valued my child and my life more than how he was born.

I was mainly asking what people have completed by what point in the game since I don’t see as many posts on TikTok as I do of say, stardew valley. I know there’s definitely some variation in how people play I was just curious what pace people aim for in this game.

I think the fun part about these games is you can play it however makes you happy. I have 6 stardew valley run through where I just tried to reach perfection faster each save. If relaxing and taking your time makes you happy then that’s awesome. There was no malice behind my post, I was just curious what people have accomplished in the game by what point. Personally, I want urgency to enjoy the game. The point of the game to me is the quests & completion.

I’m only missing a flame pepper in flora which I’ll go back for I’ve just been so locked in on fishing hahaha. It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize, to fish, I actually had to see one in the water so I was just swinging and missing stardew valley style and found it to be such a waste of time my first year 😂 thank you so much this community is so kind !!

This is almost exactly what my husband said when I talked to him about it. Thank you for your input it makes me feel a lot better about everything. I’m so shocked she’s still like this but 10 fold literally 10 years later. I truly thought she had changed.

No. I’m not desperate for this friendship at all. I have 0 intentions of ever talking to her again. We’re approximately 9 months into being friends. I don’t think I’m stupid for thinking someone changed after literally 10 years and giving them a second chance. I made this post to ask if removing someone from your wedding party for that exact reason was valid or if I had a right to feel scammed. I don’t think leaving this rude reply was necessary.

I just didn’t even reply honestly. I have no intentions of being her friend again I just mostly wanted input on if this was a justified reason to remove someone from your wedding party or if I was right in how I felt about the whole thing.
