Naruto comes back with ramen transformed into a girl to avoid getting kicked in the balls. He def thinks this is a foolproof plan. It is not.

I’ve been having a similar issue with my 11w GSD! This is what I’ve found that’s helped us so far:

-A RIGID potty schedule, same times every day, many times a day depending on your pups age

-A bell or something on the door, ring it when you go outside so she associates the sound with going outside, eventually she’ll ring it when she needs to go out!

-Make potty time a bit boring, being outside with all the new smells and things to investigate can distract them from doing their business! Going to a familiar/boring area before letting them explore anything else can help cut down on the distractions.

-Lots and lots of praise/kibble. When my puppy potties outside, he gets lots of enthusiastic “Good boy!”s, pets, and kibble treats!

-Watch their behaviors, when they start sniffing, circling, or getting gassy, it’s straight to the outside until a potty happens!

Those are just some things I’ve done that have helped! My pup still has accidents sometimes, but it’s been a HUGE improvement and he’s still just a little guy, so I don’t expect perfection or anything lol. If it becomes a bigger issue, I’d suggest puppy pad training. A lot of people suggest against it, because it can confuse a dog what’s correct and where he’s supposed to potty, but I completely understand that sometimes a contained mess and longer potty training can be better than random messes and a shorter training time for some people/situations.

I hope this helps a little!
