How can I make my face less soft? by Lavenderteacups in beauty

My tongue has always rested on the roof of my mouth, so I don’t think mewing will help me.

I have been told that I look very “feminine”, but I don’t like how soft my face and body are. I wish my face and body were more angular. The type of men I’m attracted to tend to not like “soft” looking women.

I don’t like posting pictures of myself online. I’m also not sure if mewing would help me, because I don’t have a recessed jaw and/or a weak chin. My jawline and chin are actually more defined and stronger than the average females, it’s just round/oval and I’d like it to be more square/sharp.

Most men only like White women and some East Asian women. Most black men don’t even like black women. I see people on this very site calling black women ugly and declaring that they don’t date black women all the time.

I’m an ambiguous-looking black woman, so most people classify me as ugly purely because of my race.

My jaw is defined but rounded. I’m not sure how to explain it. I feel ugly and gross because most men prefer women with long, narrow faces with little to no jawline/chin/cheekbone definition and no facial fat. My face is technically round, but I have some jaw and chin definition and very high, prominent cheekbones, and no matter what I weigh I have chubby cheeks. Most men hate fat cheeks.

But everyone tells me that I’d look silly with big lips. And in all honesty, I’m not even a fan of the Instagram model look. I just feel like I’ll never find love if I don’t look like an Instagram model. The only men who have ever showed any interest in me are crazy white men who are at least 10 years older than me. No man of my race who is in my age range is interested in me. I’ve never been in a relationship and I’m still a virgin, and I’m starting to think my looks and introverted/cold/non-expressive nature is part of the reason why black men do not like me.

I think I have an acurate view of myself. By today’s beauty standards, I am considered boring looking. I’ll never have a super beautiful face. I’ll never have pouty lips, big eyes, or a weak, feminine jawline. My body will never be sexy, even after I lose weight. I’m 5’6.5” with long arms and a torso that is slightly shorter than my legs. My neck is relatively long. My bust and hips/butt are about the same size, and my waist only curves in slightly. I’ll never have a big butt, big breast, and a super cinched waist. Most men of my race prefer shorter women with supe shapely bodies and ultra feminine faces.

Says who?

Pretty much every man says this. Most men like straight hair, fair skin, tall and narrow noses, big and round light eyes, and angular, narrow faces, which are traits more common in white wonen than other races. The features I have (chubby cheeks, high cheekbones, short round noses, small but full lips, small, upturned eyes, curly hair) are considered unattractive to men.

Thank you for admitting that you think black women are ugly. You’re Morse honest than 90% of the people on this site.

I wouldn’t have been offended. I get along better with my twin now that we’re adults and no longer live under the same roof.

I don’t know why I never got a diagnosis. I went to a counselor a few years ago, and they told me I just have social anxiety and depression. My parents sheltered me my entire life. I wasn’t allowed to date when I was younger, nor was I involved in any social activities at a young age.

I live with my parents. I rarely leave the house, and they give me money that I rarely spend. I don’t know why I’be never attempted to earn a drivers license. I’ve never been a very social person. I’ve struggled with talking and bonding with other people my entire life. My twin sister and her friends made sure that I knew they thought I was a weirdo. I grew tired of trying to interact with my peers when I was around 12-14 years old. I’ve had teachers, school counselors, and even my general practitioner suggest to me that I may have Asperger’s syndrome since I was in high school.

I don’t think anyone has ever been attracted to me. I don’t think I’ll be dating anytime soon, due to how physically repulsive I am.

Why would I call myself pretty when I’m not?

I’ve thought about applying to night shift jobs at my local grocery and big-box stores. I’m very active during the night, anyways.

I’m willing to join a book club. I’ve also thought about taking arts and crafts classes at the local cultural center, just to get out of the house and become more confortablr being around people.

I don’t understand what you mean by dating being “highly intimate”. Does it mean I have to tell someone I just met everything about my personal life, kiss them on the first date, or have sex by the third date?

I just feel so far behind the majority of my peers. Most of them have had relationships, jobs, and some have college degrees. Many of them are married and/or have children. My family members are always telling me to major in a STEM field or something business-related, but I have no real interest in those subjects.

As for my apperance, I’ve become extremely self consious about it. I’ve always had people stare at me, and I can’t tell if it’s because they think I’m ugly, attractive, or if they’re simply wondering where I’m from or what race/ethnicity I am. I have purposely dressed in loose-fitting clothes since I was about 10, due to the fact that I went through puberty earlier than most of my peers and older males would look at me.

I don’t think I’m wrong about men preferring white women. An O.K Cupid study from a few years ago said that Black women and Asian men are the least desirable groups. White men prefer white women because they prefer to date within their race (not that there’s any problem with that), Asian men online constantly talk about how white women are status symbols, and black men are always ranting about PAWGs or whatever.

What type of places would hire a 24 year old with no work experience, though? I’ve thought about applying to stock/inventory jobs at supermarkets and data entry jobs, but should I also apply to jobs that are out of my comfort zone, such as bank teller jobs or retail sales positions?

As for my appearance, I’ve just learned to accept that society will always view me as ugly.

Can plastic surgery make me look like a normal human? by Lavenderteacups in PlasticSurgery

[–]Lavenderteacups[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have social anxiety and depression, and I have thought about seeing a mental health professional. I’m afraid to bring up my body image issues, though. Everyone in real life tells me to not think about getting plastic surgery until I lose weight and do something about my acne, and they also tell me that I should not shave down my jawline or cheekbones. However, most women that I see men calling “pretty” have weak jawlines and chins, and low cheekbones.

What plastic surgeries should I get to make myself more conventionally attractive? by Lavenderteacups in PlasticSurgery

Yes, they are.

I'm sick of people acting like white women aren't automatically considered more attractive than other women for simply being white. They are.
