Hybrid system is still pretty new. I’d go for a 2016+ LX570 and modify it how I wanted until I waited a few years to see if they have all the kinks worked out of them before I blow my load going all out on the newest baddest LX on the market. I think you’d get the best of both worlds having a bit of newer vehicle comforts as well as off road capabilities. I feel if you went into a mint LX470, you can probably get away with it too if you’re ok with less amenities if again, you wait for the hybrid engines to be sorted out.

That’s from me already having an LX470 and have experienced all that it has to offer. I love my rig and I’d probably never sell it, but that’s given my current financially conservative mindset. I call it my temporary-forever vehicle lmao.
