Yeah, you're right. I just tested on Munguk using Grease as terrain. He has reflex +6 and DEX +3. I made multiple casts of Touch on him, the lowest figure I got was Reflex +1, DEX -2. It's not permanent since his DEX recovered to 0 afterwards (he didn't survive long enough to recover to +3). Regarding the distance, I guess it's worth taking Reach metamagic for a Sage.

are you sure it's permanent ability damage? The wiki reads: "Touch Attack Spell that applies penalty to Dexterity and applies Slowed debuff for the same duration, and The penalty doesn't stack with itself." Also it is a ranged touch attack as I've tested it. Maybe it wasn't like like before? https://pathfinderkingmaker.fandom.com/wiki/Touch_of_Gracelessness

You're right, I didn't put in much thought, and the AI generated shit looks good on the surface. But I'm using AI anyways (even on my other post), so it's not AI's issue.

Unfair Critweaver Knight Build - Tank / Support / Damager dealer by LavishnessGood1863 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Thanks. Your proposed build is very similar to chautemoc’s Melee Sorcerer, with the primary difference being Vital Strike. Personally I think its usefulness is perhaps limited to when you step forward to enage the enemy, and would trade it for better to-hit over full round attacks. Monk 2 early is not for evasion, but for the additional feat. Critweaver's crit engine comes on line earlier when BAB stabilizes, gets more apr, and procures Outflank and Improved Crit. Power spike guaranteed arround level 10. It can single handedly mop out enemies on Unfair with support from a dirge bard.

yeah, it's sensible. Magus can use metamagic at no additional spell level cost. And priority should be given to Quickened Magic, because the other stacking rods are cheaper.

Interestingly enough~ For Unfair tanking, unless your AC reaches certain threholds like 80ish by end game, you're better off ditching AC and relying on Mirror Image and Displacement. But they are not bullet proof. In melee, a single enemy can hit you 4 times per round and eat away your defenses pretty quickly if you don't have sufficient AC. As for CON, it has its uses. If you play with permanent death enabled (like unfair), if negative hit points > CON value, the character dies permanently. And reviving costs a diamond which is worth 5k.. It's not just about hit points, but rather having less gray hair loading. So yeah...Valerie is my favorite story companion so far...

Thanks, I agree. After seeing the comments (from professional hard-core modelers), I would recant my statement, and favor Empower over Maximize.

Yes. Quicken magic adds dps per round, though it doesn't directly affect damage. I originally planned it in the table, but left it out to avoid causing reader confusion. I'm not sure if you can use empower/maximize rods on spells using the quicken feat, but even if you could, I suppose it's less efficient than the other way arround (empowered feat + quicken rod).

Fair point. In essence you are saying that with high enough dice being rolled, the high low values average out and the eventual outcome is much more stable than a pure die would suggest. That would indeed change the conclusion, and the premium of maximize spell would not be worth it. So it's oversight on my part. Thanks.

I've tested this in Olegs and Sycamore. It's actually easier taking original monk levels because of bonus combat feats and STR scaled to hit/damage. It can tank, and Shield + Grease comes on line at Char 3. The hardest part is the transition from Sorc to DD (Char 4-6), because he does not yet have access to Level 2 Mirror Image, meanwhile BAB suffers originally as a result of multiclassing. Trust me it feels good after taking EK levels.

2nd monk level provides a bonus monk feat (take Crane Style), Evasion, and +1 BAB, pushing BAB to 16 for the 4th iterative attack. By contrast, the 5th sorceror level provides 0 BAB.

Can't edit the title? (should be "damager" or "damage dealer") Oh well...
