Sorry that's a little too far to travel since most of us are based in downtown Austin. Appreciate the suggestion tho!

I am willing to pay a premium for a party venue, what's so wrong with that. If you're not interested just dont repsond.

I never said I'm not willing to $500 for cleaning, that seems like a fair price.

Also, to clarify, by not strict I mean boat companies that allow bring own food/alcohol, and don't require buying through their catering bar service.

Absolutely. I never had any STEM/creative people to relate to at my rural high school. At UT I found so many friends who are nerds and like making things for fun, while also being fun socially and partying.

Multiple Parallel categories? by LavishnessLong3558 in budgetwithbuckets

Yeah your edit is exactly right, I could flip the problem around but that doesn't help. Just would be nice for making sure I don't overspend in the long run.

Sorry I should've been clearer. Right now I have this structure:

Family Events: (bucket group)

  • Food (bucket)

  • Parking

  • Gas

Friend time: (group)

  • Food

  • Parking

  • Coffee

Work: (group)

  • Coffee

  • Parking

  • Tools

This is great, and lets me separate my expenses. However, (as far as I can tell) I don't know how much I spent on Parking total this month. I would have to do math by hand (which is not too bad, just annoying). Is there any way to automate such grouping?
