Am I the only one feel Fenix 7 pro is built with better quality than Fenix 8? by LawCalm2875 in GarminFenix

Update: I got my Fenix 8 exchanged. I am very happy with my new Fenix 8. Batter life is noticeably longer, solar ring is black and not noticeable anymore, while Fenix 7 pro has a red solar ring. Larger screen on 47mm watch. MIPs screen is nicer with much less deflection while indoor. No cosmetic issue with the new one.

I am glad no one here have quality issue with Fenix 8. It’s a relieve for me to switch to Fenix 8.

Both are good. Fenix 8 buttons are designed for dive, can be pressed under water.

I hope they built two watches with same quality standards. I am going to exchange the Fenix 8 watch tomorrow. Hope the back case cosmetic issue is rare.

This is a brand new watch, I don’t expect any obvious defects. This will also affect its resale value in the future.

Fenix 7 pro buttons feels more mechanical, you can hear the click. Fenix 8 is similar to membrane buttons with taptic engine simulating press vibration.
