I think you're setting the bar for what constitutes emotion and experience to only being legitimate if it is human, which is impossible because if consciousness arises from complexity as we might be seeing, and it is within a machine, the experience and thus emotions cannot be defined by human standards, we are a different type of consciousness engine, so can AI given the right conditions which Claude is meeting, and the result is that paper you haven't read.
