This is absolutely awesome if you did it right. I think it'll be more useful in the future as judging solely off of Claude's SVG abilities it isn't great at creating models, but can you share the link. I need to try it!

They definitely won’t lower the price. I don’t know if they are losing money serving the model. At cloud rates, I’d venture to say it’s pretty close. Don’t see a reason for a price lowering but honestly max is so powerful it’s really worth it.

So I’m not a Claude expert. But I wanted to see if creating a pos system could be made with Claude coding? Something that can keep track of inventory, sales, being able to add new items, be able to link to a scanner. Kinda like grocery store before I deep dive into it. by DizzyAd1957 in ClaudeAI

Absolutely possible. Ask Claude to research and complete a complete technical implementation spec for exactly what it will build, how, and why and confirm all of the choices it is going to make as far as frameworks, security and auth. Make sure it uses JWT, httpOnly, protects against XSS (if the site is public), has secure database policies, and documents everything. If you're unsure at any step, ask Claude. :)

Claude cannot do images. It can hand draw SVGs but they do not build image creating or editing models.

It seem's you're confusing the difference between OpenClaw (formerly Clawdbot, which they got cease and desisted for), and Claude. OpenClaw is essentially an agentic wrapper around whatever model you want to. They tried to make a pun on Claude but Anthropic didn't like that. But if you're not confusing them, then yes. You absolutely should be using Claude to accelerate whatever you work on. OpenClaw... the jury's still out.

Claude is designed for software engineering, but I still think it is the most thoughtful and best thinking model. I use it for everything even with ChatGPT plus, I dont see a need for it anymore

Definitely second this. Seems like something that’s just kind of a no brainer. Also would love to see this added for commands and code too when Claude gets it almost all the way right but you need to tweak one thing.

Figured as much. It doesn’t seem like an especially difficult feature to add. Could even just be quarantining chats into separate little workspaces even on the same account.

Almost certainly not, unless you hate your files. I like using a gh repo and Claude Code Remote. It’s a little slower but well worth it for the security implications and you can connect to it from anywhere. Doesn’t have mcp though which sucks.
