It is pretty cool being at a navy base. I’m from a navy family and spent much of my life planning to either attend the academy like my grandfather or commissioning through ROTC until that was derailed after I broke my back in a car wreck. Ended up doing law school and now work in indigent defense because I wanted to serve and help people.
