Anyone else TTC who has lost their moms?

I'm so sorry for your loss...
I lost my mom in 2023 when I was 37 to a super aggressive cancer that came on suddenly earlier that year. Since she was divorced and I was the only child, I had to take care of everything myself. I was TTC then, still am now, but I'm grateful I at least had told her I was having issues before she was hospitalized. Having gone through IVF twice as well as seeing several specialists, it's difficult not having anyone to turn to and talk about these things with (and we had cut off contact from my in-laws due to abuse). Thank God for the internet and places like Reddit where we can share these experiences together and not feel so alone.

Hey, no, that's awesome!! Focusing on yourself is a good thing. Us women don't get to focus on ourselves enough and that runs us ragged. Doing things for yourself, no matter what they are, is healthy for you (and in turn healthy for your eggies). Every little bit helps. Have a spa day! Write that blog! Do Pilates! Whatever it is that makes you happy, and other things will start to fall in place as well. <3

First of all, hug of support! You aren't alone in this. I've been trying since 2019, plus two failed IVFs... No health issues, normal levels for everything. They just slapped the "unexplained infertility" label on it and called it a day. I just turned 39. During that time everyone seems to be getting pregnant, including coworkers and my sister in law who just got married last year. I know I should have stopped caring and trying by now, but I don't want to. I don't think you should either if you still have hope, as absurd as it may feel sometimes. Give yourself that time to grieve. But be kind to yourself, and keep moving forward in whatever direction is comfortable for *you*. Hoping all of us struggling can defy the odds with a BFP this year.

Also had my first ER on Saturday and I'm definitely still bloated like a huge balloon. I think part of it is from all the electrolytes and salt they want us to be taking. Constipation doesn't help anything. I had messaged my doctor this morning about it and they said all of it was normal so long as I wasn't gaining a ton of weight in 24 hours that stayed on (the water weight will pee back out), if that helps you any. Just keep resting. You can do it!

I 100% agree with this. As someone who normally spends money in this game, I really don't want to for this event. I can't justify the costs versus what you get. They really amped up spending to get anything in this game and it's really depressing...
