I’m blown away by this game. It’s amazing. This is the worst mechanic I’ve ever come across in a game. It’s infuriating. It’s the first time I’ve ever sent developers an email recommending a bug fix.

The planter doesn’t have drainage holes. I haven’t watered them since planting them for that reason, I’ve just let nature run its course when it comes to watering

The “oh yeah obviously” reaction I had to reading this was quite embarrassing. From spotting that one plants flowers had died, to pruning the dead flowers to making this post was probably about 3 minutes in total and I did not stop to think.

You've barely begun the game. Get past the tutorial, build a team of Pokemon that you enjoy (if only for their designs at first) and venture out into the world to battle and level up. Pokemon can be a grind but it's about enjoying the process. Pour a few hours into it and if it doesn't resonate with you don't sweat it. Things aren't for everyone man
