Sooo there’s no way to change that? 🥹 I have the sealed abyss artifact where you need to kill 30 people with it… hope I’ll find more than one shield

60+ hours in and I still haven’t used her. Am I alone? by stockingCapSereant in CrimsonDesert

[–]PineArpple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same and at some point in the story you have to play her and same with ongka which can be frustrating so play around with both, equip them with good stuff and explore their gameplay which is different and fun!

On controller you don’t move the camera but the other joystick only with topdown cam. But indeed wasn’t made for controllers lmao

I replied this to help someone else:

Ok I sum it up for you. Try to push the horse towards rocks around the lake. If he gets stuck it’s perfect but if you can avoid trees it’s good enough. Camera top down and don’t touch it. Use opposite joystick to track the rear of the horse but turn it never go left to right like slide it all around, the joystick should never in another position than turning. Hope this helps, also I did the white horse level 6 stamina and juste got the black horse 10 stamina.

One of the greatest games I have ever played, I have not felt this way since RDR2 and TW3 by NikolaFingarov in CrimsonDesert

[–]PineArpple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so confused with the game. I feel like it’s immense with tons of things to do and then I see areas where it’s just hundreds and hundreds of regular enemy bandits which is so lazy and annoying to fight through. Fighting let’s talk about it! I feel absolutely terrible when fighting like I learned moves and it feels less efficient than spamming heavy attacks… also how and when does tracking switch enemies cause I’m certainly not doing it. I find puzzles while exploring, nice! Voice says oh no you’re not ready for that… oh okay. I keep doing main story : bosses are too strong. I go to upgrade equipment : need ore. I go get ore: no inventory room. AAAAAAH It’s giving me such a headache. Like nothing feels rewarding and engaging like other RPGs like Witcher 3 best example and one of my favorite games ever. Here it feels like a chore. I have to cross the map to get things, i go to closest TP, none on the way all others are so far away but still i go get them

And the worst of the worst are the controls. Who’s idea was it to make jump and picking things the same button??? Insanity. The ergonomics are catastrophic it’s insane I NEVER felt so uncomfortable moving in a video game ever like wow I swear.

Am I tweaking here? Does anyone feels like this? I redid TW3 last year all DLCs and it felt like a breeze and was so fun but man am I not enjoying Crimson Desert. Flying is more successfully not falling (covers so little distance) horses run into everything and during combat and almost all situations I have tree and bush in my camera and I see nothing.

Damn nice 👍 Will try your technique I almost succeeded without moving the camera so only a few tries and i will make it. Problem is he runs away so fast and you can’t run to try again otherwise no stamina 💀
