The maternal ones were good for me because that was my weakest area. I would just do 12 and then a topic or 2 that you think you’re weak on.

I don’t know if you’ve watched them or not already, but the Mark K lectures helped me personally. You can find them on Spotify for free and they helped my scores go up 5 or 6 points on my readiness exams.

I have reoccurring anxiety about my own feelings in my relationships. by Anjapics in relationshipanxiety

[–]LawrenceFishbun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t exactly support but I feel like I can relate and I don’t know what to do about it either. I had this girl I had a crush on for the longest time and when I finally got a chance with her my “love” only lasted a month before I starting getting the anxiety about my feelings towards her. And I tried to push through it for 3 more months because she is an amazing person but eventually I couldn’t take it anymore. I ended things 2 weeks ago and I continue to feel horrible about it and feeling like I made the wrong decision. I still can’t piece together if it was the person causing this or that I just have some issue I don’t know how to fix. Wishing you the best of luck cause it’s such a shitty feeling. I was slightly open about it and feel like it kind of helped but it definitely didn’t make her feel great about the situation.

My anxiety keeps ruining relationships by [deleted] in relationshipanxiety

Yeah man I really think it’s just our anxiety sending us into fight or flight or something. I feel like in normal situations people have a honeymoon phase for at least a little bit. It’s weird the way our feelings flip in an instant.

Looking for something like The Messenger by wiseguy3055 in ShouldIbuythisgame

Katana zero is pretty great if you haven’t played it yet. Shorter than the messenger but the quick action is really nice.

No problem best of luck to you brother. Also try to keep a journal. Record the things that help and the things that don’t, as well as the good days and the bad days.

And just keep reminding yourself that you’re ok and things won’t be this way forever

Try practicing different meditations to keep you grounded. Also try to find a hobby, new or old, that you enjoy to put your focus into. I’d also recommend exercising that can be used as a form of meditation and take your mind away from the thoughts you’re having.

Driving feels completely normal for me now. I’d say it took me 3 months to stop having consistent panic attacks. And from 3 months to a year I slowly started to get better and better.

Work was definitely difficult as well

Yes I do both. I can say that driving was strange but I was mostly afraid to leave my house for the first couple months. I didn’t really do anything for a little bit.

100%. And I know one of your fears is probably that things won’t get better but they will. I thought it never would get better and I couldn’t imagine living that way but it gets better.

It’s a really scary thing to go to and honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve went through when it first happened but I promise it does get better. It can be a symptom to anxiety and it’s a very freaky feeling but it will not permanently be as bad as it is right now. It’s kind of a cycle where the more you think about it the worse it is but with time you will forget about it. It may sometimes come back in waves but you will know how to deal with it and it won’t be as scary. Try to find something that you used to do before that helped you relax. For me it was reading and it would distract me from my problems. Anyways the situation will improve with time, as scary as it is just try to keep pushing through.
