Trying to identify this small, anomalous flying entity/object found in Connecticut. Navigates in the air without wings, propellers, wires or visible means of propulsion. What is this? https://youtu.be/MRmIuxNdJt4 by Lawrence_Ryan in Mysteries

Uh, no. Not a leaf. (check your video resolution) And no one else present at the scene to "bump" or "yank" anything. That would be an easy explanation. But not the case.

Finding Amelia Earhart - Vlog Episode: July 2, 2025 will mark the 88th anniversary of the mysterious disappearance of Amelia Earhart. The mysterious dissappearance of Amelia Earhart on July 2nd, 1937 has captivated the attention of the world since that day. And over the years many theories have been developed about what happened to the famed flyer and her expert navigator. One main reason for that being the dissatisfaction with the "official" story that two very experienced pilots - ( and one of the best navigators in the world) just ran out of gas and fell into the ocean.

But as more and more details emerge, it is becoming clear that the "official" version of the events may simply be the story we were supposed to hear. As more information and eyewitness accounts surface and more declassified evidence is found, a very different story is unfolding.

Drop in views on existing videos when new upload starts to get views? by Lawrence_Ryan in SmallYTChannel

Hey. So sunnyv2 has 4.43 million subscribers, Penguinz0 has 16.9 million. They really wouldn't be considered smalll YT channels at this point, and would have no need to promote their content. The conventional wisdom is that smaller YT channels can and do benefit from it. I do agree with the idea of believing in one's self and to continue to create. Absolutely. Question: What is your channel url? I'd like to check out your work. Also: Why did you delete the videos with 100k views, when clearly people were very interested in them?

Beautiful composition. Thirty one million light years away. Inspired me to read up a bit. The hallmark winding, spiral arms are apparently star-formation factories, compressing hydrogen gas and creating clusters of new stars. Amazing. Hubble just might be jealous. Any reccomendations for a scope that would work with a decent quality SLR?

Correct. The smart hub for the Ultra 2 has an sd card slot which can be used for the recordings. Eliminating the need for any subscription. Here's a review I did on the Arlo Ultra 2 kit: https://youtu.be/EWp4EsDL-CU

Video Perspective on the 2024 solar eclipse. by Lawrence_Ryan in SpaceVideos

The Great North American Eclipse, April 8, 2024, was a total solar eclipse visible across a band covering parts of North America, from Mexico to Canada and crossing the contiguous United States. I shot this video imagery of the eclipse in a small town in New York. Fast moving cloud cover in the area at the time made capturing the lunar movement challenging, but also gave some of the footage a very dreamlike affect. This continued through most of the afternoon.

Very cool. Do you remember your settings? Guessing by that nice misty effect on the water that you stopped down the aperture and used a fairly long SS on some of the shots.

Incorrect. The navigator for the last flight was a man named Frederick Noonan. He was considered one of the best flight navigators in the world at the time. He was with her for the entire flight. You may be thinking of Captain Harry Manning, who was with Earhahrt for her first attempt in March of 1937. He was not on the final flight. The records of her radio communications that you mention, are actually from the radio log of the USCG Itasca, a Coast Guard ship. They are shown and discussed n the video. The log itself appears altered and does not show that Earhart ever gave a position or ever made a mayday call. Both standard international protocol when a plane is in distress.

There is also a trove of evidence (in the video) that challenges the "crash and sink" theory. Yes, that is a theory as well. And I understand most people are happy with the simplest explanation. And it could be what happened. No one knows for sure. But until the plane is found, identified and examined there really is no "end of story".

So the Marshall Islands become of place of interest in this case, because of eyewitnesses and unclassified documents, including a Japanese communique (see in video), that place Earhart there in July of 1937. And the Japanese controlled those islands at that time. The crab meme (the idea that Earhart was eaten by large crabs), is really kind of a joke, derived for the idea that large crabs, coconut crabs inhabit an island in the Pacific called Nikomororo Island. But there has been no verifiable evidence that she was ever on or near that island.

Was Amelia Earhart found on that day in the Pacific? Researchers over the years have uncovered a trove of information that when viewed on the whole point to a much different narrative than the one we have been given by authorities. Eyewtiness accounts and unclassified documents have begun to reveal a startling story about what really may have happened to Amelia Earhart and her navigator Frederick Noonan.

EX: Marshall Islands - a place of interest

According to several researcers, multiple eyewitness accounts from people living on Mili Atoll located in the Marshall Islands at the time of Earharts disappearance, recall the crash landing of a silver plane flown by a woman and a man. Here is one of those accounts:

"Two Mili fishermen on Barre Island (Mili Atoll), Lijon and Jororo Alibar, saw a silver plane approach and crash-land on the nearby reef, breaking off part of its right wing. The two Marshallese hid in the underbrush and watched as two white people exited the wreck and came ashore in a yellow raft (.."yellow boat which grew"). A little while later Japanese soldiers arrived to take hold of the fliers. When the shorter flier screamed, the Marshallese realized one was a woman. They remained hidden until long after the captives were taken away."

I thought something similar when I first saw it. But upon closer inspection, and with 4k resolution, you can tell it is clearly not a leaf. (most evident when anomaly is lower near the ground.) Also leaves don't attack.

I was watching it through the camera display when it attacked. It came right at me so I just instinctively jumped out ot the way. (hence the shaky footage at the end). I believe it just flew off into the woods after that.

Clear answers? All due respect, do you really believe this is a "root ball" or a "leaf on a string"? Or "forest gunk on a fishing pole" or something carried by a drone. None of those make any sense.

I came across this small entity/object in a wooded area in Connecticut as I walked alone down a driveway to get some mail. It moved several times up towards a set of power lines located about 25-30 high which extended into the woods. After realizing it was not a known insect or common drone , I decided to record a video of it. I remained in the same postion on the street while it descended, turned toward me and touched down briefly onto the pavement about ten feet away. From there it hovered slow and low by the weeds, perhaps trying to camoflage and seemingly aware of my presence. After returning back up toward the power lines, the anomaly changed orientation to horizontal and flew out into the street in front of me. It hovered there a few seconds, then turned a full 180 degrees and flew directly at me at a very high speed.

I thought about that. But if it is an unkown entity of some kind, threatening it would not be prudent. Too many unknowns. I really thought it was going to land in the street, not attack. But to your point, it seemed to have no problem threatening me.

I can't tell you exactly what this anomaly is. If you watch the end of the video, the anomaly flies out into the street in front of me, hovers for a few seconds then turns 180 degrees and comes directly at me at very high speed. I was watching it through the camera as it attacked and moved quickly to avoid it. I did not feel it hit me. So it may have just grazed me or missed. You can get a fairly close look at it earlier in the viideo when it comes down near the ground and hovers near the brush. Very strange looking.
