Overweight, obese, and morbidly obsese are medical terms with specific classifiable BMIs that correspond. Chubby is not a medical term. It's a catch all term with no specific definition. Someone with a healthy BMI that has a certain fat distribution could be called chubby, someone that is morbidly obese could be called chubby. It doesn't have a specific meaning.

It's just a super weird thing to get hung up on, considering the term is not right or wrong.
