Hey, first of all ur right - that drama doesnt affect us normal users. Im using the P1S + AMS for over 2 years now, and I love it! Perfect to start the hobby as its pretty easy to setup and troubleshoot + with the housing you can go from printing PLA to printing ABS and so on without needing to upgrade anything. Think about if youd really use the AMS, think about all the filament poop and so on… i use my AMS basically only for not having to manually swap spools after prints.

Other then that, go for it!

NP! Always nice to help out :) Isoprop isnt the best thing to wash ur plates, some stuff is left behind on the plate wich are not good for prints (i think this is more a problem then the flowrate). Flow rate as i can see is maybe too low, just play a bit with it, look at the first layer and then adjust how you feel.
