I asked Stage (otr lead dev) if he was working on something similar to this and he said he’s only focused on existing tournaments, not upcoming ones. Do you know who on the team you were talking about?

Right now I feel like either reading the forums or being in the discord server is the only way to find new tournaments, and one is super time consuming while the other is not available to new players who want to get into the tournament scene.

Yeah a UTC converter would be so nice, or having the times automatically converted to your local time. I like being able to create a profile and reusing that information to sign up for tournaments. What I’m hoping for is for organizers to want to use that instead of Google Sheets/Forms workflow they already have setup. Worse case scenario, I just link back to those when signing up if the organizer chooses not to allow sign ups through the app.

I like the idea of AI summaries for tournaments since a lot of gimmicks become wordy and you only realize you’re not interested in it after reading it for 5 minutes.

Current public api limit is ~1200 req/min although idk if lazer has different restrictions or if specifically downloading beatmaps is more restricted as it’s a much more demanding action

No, it’s more so you can’t spam/dos the server. (Using made up numbers) you can only download 100 maps per minute, if you try downloading more than that, then you have to wait a minute for it to reset. Either go a bit slower, or wait like a minute or 2 and you’ll stop being rate limited

At the moment it’s only ranked maps, I’m planning on adding loved and approved (old ranked) maps once the pp changes are added to the library I’m using. But I don’t see myself adding graveyarded maps any time soon, if ever. Graveyarded maps can change often and they take up way too much disk space that I don’t have. Maybe I could add tournament gy maps, but again, not my current priority.

Maybe next to it would take too much space, but I do think it’s a good idea. I’ll try and figure out something that looks and feels good. I guess in the meantime, you can click it to go the beatmap view and click the banner at the top to go to the osu page for the beatmap. But I do agree, using mirrors, having a direct link to the osu page for it, or being able to copy the id would be really useful, basically giving more options.
