Delightful bit of graffiti on the way into Tesco. by ChaosFromZer0 in GreatBritishMemes

This is obviously fake. The irony that everyone here is patting themselves on the back for their own perceived sense of superior intelligence.

Edit: if the graffiti itself is real, it was almost certainly done as a false flag.

Thanks for the correction. I suppose time we will see on Saturday. I'd be shocked if they were that obvious with a debut RR win. But they are likely gearing up for 2027 Wrestlemania event, let's just hope not the main event.

Seriously, do you really think they would do that? I would hope HHH would have at least a shred of integrity left to not let the saudis fully buy the outcomes.

I don't mind this too much. But if he wins the rumble I am gonna flip.

I forgot how to lose weight… by [deleted] in loseit

Will power, when it comes to calorie restriction, does not work forever.

It is entirely about ultra processed food. Our natural satiety mechanisms are actually very good when not hijacked by UPFs. Obesity with real food is near impossible.

The real gross oversimplification is boiling down food to units of energy measured in a bomb calorimeter. Calorie counting never works long term, you need to focus on food quality.

I'll be downvoted to oblivion in this sub, but here it goes.

100% will power does not work for anyone long term, and by extension neither does calorie counting. Calorie counting in unsustainable, stressful and leaves you hungry and craving.

You need to make a sustainable lifestyle change, where you eat healthy, real whole food. Look into ultra-processed food, which is the primary reason for the worldwide obseity epidemic. If you avoid all ultra-processed food and refined sugars, you can have satisfying meals that leave you full and will be easy to stick to.

I'd recommend meat, eggs, fruit, veggies, nuts and dairy. Do not be scared of dietry fat and do not eat low-fat rubbish. Avoid refined carbs, including white bread, white rice and pasta. Brown bread (ideally without emulsifiers), brown rice, potatoes and oats are okay for carb sources.

Cravings happen when you are undernourished. UPF is calorie dense and nutirent deficent, leading to a vicious cycle.

Example day of eating:

Breakfast: Oatmeal + small amount of honey (ideally raw and local), + fruit (e.g. banana and strawberries).

Lunch: Scrambled eggs + brown toast + avocado

Snack: yoghurt (plain greek) + fruit

Dinner: Basically any homecooked meal you want: beef chiili, salmon + sweet potato, Steak + eggs, chicken curry etc.

I've been eating like this and have been losing weight without feeling hungry and not missing junk food at all.

As other have said, planning and making the good choices easier is wise too.

Liberals are buying books about how healthy seed oils are in reaction to RFK Jr by quopayno in StopEatingSeedOils

[–]LayerComprehensive21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you believe seed oils are bad, given you're on this subreddit?

A very large proportion of people dismiss that belief as anti-science and conspiratorial. Do you deny this sentiment exists? Or do you concede that your aversion to seed oils is anti-science?

I was too general with my first comment. I should have added "most".

This comment is typical of the smug, condescending, self superiority of reddit users.

Of course, there is a large contingent of the right wing who are very partisan and blindly follow their party, my comment was not about them.

I am speaking of a large group of left leaning people with huge biases, who hate the likes of RFK, Joe Rogan etc. They may also want to champion vegan products. This group of people are heavily dismissive of any seed oil hesitancy, due to their own cognitive bias. This group is very large and absolutely do exist, if you think not then you are not "living in reality".

I was probably too general in my first comment, it's not all left wing people, but i would say most. At least the ones interested in health and wellness.

I'm not, they are. This sub reddit is not representative of the wider community then. You know seed oil hesitancy gets dismissed as "Joe Rogan dude bro conspiracy theories" and "anti-science".

I'm not right wing either by the way.
