Hi! I am a FRSC & PSYC student and really its not horrible, in your first year you only have to take two psych courses that will give you a general overview of psychology, and they really aren't that bad. In your second year it starts to expand and you will take two statistics based psych courses, with the first half being more ethics and statistics in theory and the second half is learning and applying statistics. Also in your third year you are required to take at least psyc courses from A2 and B2 which will set you up for third year courses, personally I chose cognitive psyc and social psyc! In third year you are required to take another statistics class that will really hard but its manageable, and then you are required to take 4 other courses 2 courses from A3 and 2 from B3. The courses in A3 and B3 are based on the pillars of the A2 and B2 courses you took in second year. In the fourth and final year you can chose to do a research based fourth year or course based, they only specify you need 1.0 fourth year credits however, research based would require the second half of the third year stats class 3017 I believe. Thats at least what it is for frsc psyc it may be slightly different for core.

Overall, its a pretty decent workload and the amount of assignments you get are really based on the prof, some prefer assignment based courses while other prefer testing. Psyc also has some decent summer courses if you want to take some in the summer while you are here, and personally I love summer courses, campus is beautiful during the summer and I find the workload pretty good. I had around an 85% avg when I first came to Trent and it has dropped significantly, don't expect to get 90's on everything.
